仕事内容 <Job Purpose>
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for providing financial and strategic support, financial analysis, guidance, and insight to the Zespri business.

The primary responsibility of the Finance Business Partner position will be to partner with the business unit's or function as a first point of contact for all finance matters. Partnering closely with the business teams to understand their needs and challenges, provide financial analysis, insights and recommendations to enable effective decision-making and delivery of the business plan.

<Accountabilities>
Provide commercial leadership, challenge and bring rigor to Functional/s partnered:
・Act as a key liaison between the finance team and other business functions, including sales, marketing, and operations
・Provide leadership and guidance to Cost Centre managers on forecasting and budgeting activities and ensure data integrity of Financial data inputs.
Act a trusted business partner who understands customer needs and value drivers in Zespri structure, including familiarity with grower vs shareholder return calculations, customer profitability calculations, and financial models

Partner with function leadership to develop and execute initiatives consistent with the regional plan:
・Lead engagement with the business leaders to understand strategic objectives and align finance support to achieve delivery of these.
・Partner with business teams to understand their goals and challenges, and provide financial and strategic support to help achieve their objectives.

Develop, enhance, maintain reporting of performance measures, provide insights that improve decision making:
・Provide financial analysis and insights to the business teams to enable effective decision-making
・Monitor and analyze key financial and operational metrics, and communicate trends and variances to the business team
・Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
・Develop financial models to support business cases, commercial decisions, and strategic planning
・Develop business cases, analyzing their strategic fit, challenging the key assumptions and providing recommendations, analysis of business implications and risks/benefits
・Support the company’s various administrative cycles as required, including: preparation of papers for and attendance at Exec & S&OP meetings, 5 year planning sessions, etc

Provide advice, guidance, analysis and insights to support the Function/s to improve profitability, increase revenue, decrease costs:
・Act as strongly trusted advisor for financial the assigned function or business unit across pricing, trade terms, and customer profitability analysis etc
・Develop cost optimization strategies to maximize business profitability

Drive continuous improvement ethos and simplification within Function/s. Develop, maintain reporting of initiatives
・Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement best practices and process improvements.

Support the Commercial Manager achieve the objectives of the region:
・Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results
・Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects to drive business growth and efficiency
・Work with Commercial Finance Manager to plan & execute market growth strategy, support business case development and track benefit realization for GC projects

労働条件 - working hours: 9am - 5pm
- Hybrid working: 2 days in office

応募資格

【必須(MUST)】

We are looking for a strong team player who has a solid finance/background experience and wants to an impact within our business. By utilising your business partnering experience, you will also have:

- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Proven track record of providing financial guidance and support to business leaders
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders
- A relevant Bachelors degree in either Finance or Accounting
- Ability to communicate well in Japanese & English (both written and verbal)

<Qualifications>
・Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

<Technical Capability>
・5 + years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a business partnering role
・Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
・Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders
・Proven track record of providing financial guidance and support to business leaders
・Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
・Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools
・Experience in the FMCG industry, with a focus on fresh produce or agriculture, is highly desirable
