【Job description for Laser chip Designr】 Come work with industry-leading engineers to make high-performance semiconductor lasers. We are seeking an innovative Laser Design Engineer who will be responsible for the research and development of novel laser devices for high speed and high-performance applications. You will lead the effort of exploring new concepts, new structures, and new processes in laser diode technologies. You will also be responsible for using simulation and design software tools to design the devices and working with other teams to demonstrate the feasibility and manufacturability of your designs. Successful candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic, cross-culture, and cross-functional team. |

【必須（MUST）】 【Key Qualifications】・“Can-do” attitude with ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines. ・Deep understanding of semiconductor laser devices with hands-on experience in research and development in semiconductors/optoelectronics. ・Experience in one or more of the following areas: Laser diode simulation, laser diode fabrication, laser diode test and characterization. ・Familiarity of simulation tools such as Ansys Lumerical Photonics Simulation & Design Software. ・Experienced in some or all the following areas. - Modeled device physics for devices such as laser diodes and light emitting diodes. - Experienced with epitaxy such as MOCVD or MBE, processing, device characterization, assembly, reliability, and failure analysis. - Experienced in various material systems such as AlInGaP or InGaN. - Worked and communicated cross-functionally in a cross-culture environment. - Familiarity of high-speed optoelectronics. ・Excellent bilingual written and verbal communication skills among Mandarin, English, and Japanese. 【Education & Experience】 ・Master’s degree in Physical Science, Electrical/Industrial Engineering, or equivalent field with 5+ years applicable experience. ・Candidates currently in the process of pursing a PhD degree in Physical Science, Electrical/Industrial Engineering, or equivalent field will be considered.
