We are seeking an industry expert to grow the market for our Technical Computing and Model－Based Design products in the Communications, Electronics, and Semiconductors （CES） industry segments such as mobile communications, communications infrastructure, digital and mixed－signal semiconductors, consumer electronics, computer electronics, software and internet, and instrumentation. In particular, electronics and semiconductor supply chain for emerging autonomous automotive applications, IoT, and 5G/Wireless innovation are key areas of focus for this position. As the CES industry marketing manager, you will develop and execute on plans to drive increased adoption of family of products in many of these segments of the CES industries in Japan and South Korea.
You will collaborate with other CES industry managers in EMEA and AMER regions, and with the Sales and Applications Engineering teams in Japan and South Korea. In addition, you will work closely with product marketing and product development teams to develop the industry strategy, marketing message, supporting content and marketing plan, as well as contribute to the long－term technology roadmap. Through these efforts, you will shape how the industry and customers perceive company and champion the impact of industry trends on product development plans.
Provide direction and guidance to Japan and South Korea sales and services personnel for the CES industries
Through customer visits, understand the customers’ need and develop messaging for how products address CES industry challenges.
Work directly with sales teams in support of key sales opportunities and with key customers to drive product adoption.
Strategize with account managers to increase account penetration and build best practices for effectively increasing sales worldwide.
Drive awareness of products within the CES industries across Japan and South Korea
Develop marketing programs and supporting materials, and use the web to effectively drive promotion, and share best practices with EMEA, AMER, and other parts of APAC.
Produce articles, technical papers, and user stories in support of CES industries.
Deliver presentations at conferences and industry events and serve as the CES spokesperson.
Develop business strategy for CES industry in Japan, South Korea, and APAC
Develop and execute the CES industry strategy and business plan and review progress on it with an internal “board of advisors.”
Work closely with engineering staff to capture key CES customer needs and in development of new features and products to support these needs.
Analyze CES business performance, identify new market opportunities, and develop plans to increase penetration and growth.
Identify and work with critical partners to provide a complete solution for customer needs.
A bachelor's degree and 12 years of professional work experience is required.
Candidates for this position must hold a valid work permit in Japan.
Experience with products or other multi－domain simulation software
Strong knowledge of and experience （7＋ years） in system design, prototyping, and verification methodologies in one or more of these segments: semiconductors, mixed－signal design, communications infrastructure, mobile communications, consumer electronics, or electronic design automation
Experience and motivation supporting sales and engaging with customers in a multi－national environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to engage with internal and external audiences on technical and business conversations
MBA holder is preferable
Product marketing, applications engineering, field engineering, or business development experience related to technical software
Prior employment with a leading corporation in CES industries
Experience with a global software company
Experience in sales forecasting and economic analysis
Business level English is required
Proficiency in Japanese language is required
