We are developing next-generation intelligent eyewear (smart glasses) powered by our proprietary, ultra-low latency Conversational Speech Model. ■ Mission & Position Objective We are gearing up for the global launch of our intelligent eyewear (smart glasses) in 2027. To prepare for mass production, we have established our new factory in Fukui, Japan. As a CNC Engineer, you will lead all aspects of CNC engineering supporting Sesame's fast-growing manufacturing program in Japan. You will own the entire CNC lifecycle, from initial prototyping, programming, and fixture design to mass production launch and equipment qualification. Additionally, you will partner closely with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and external suppliers to scale production for highly precise consumer electronic devices. ■ Responsibilities ・Design and develop assembly fixtures, jigs, and manufacturing tooling using 3D CAD. ・Serve as the primary point of contact for fabrication partners in Japan and internationally. ・Procure, assemble, validate, maintain, and improve fixtures, jigs, and related equipment. ・Troubleshoot manufacturing tooling issues to improve quality, yield, and throughput. ・Manage external partners developing fixtures, jigs, test systems, and equipment. ・Partner with Factory Operations leadership to achieve quality and operational goals. ・Collaborate with automation vendors to deploy and optimize robotic manufacturing solutions. ・Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and processes. ・Support NPI and process development in collaboration with the U.S. engineering team. ・Travel as needed to suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure successful execution. ■ Key Attractions Industry-Leading Compensation: We offer an exceptional salary package of JPY 15M - 25M with an annual bonus of up to 30%, far exceeding traditional technical roles in Japan. 労働条件	・雇用形態：正社員・勤務地：福井県福井市　※他府県からの赴任に伴う引っ越し費用等は、別途ご相談の上、会社側でサポート・支給いたします。・勤務時間：所定労働時間 8時間（休憩 1時間）　※米国本社（サンフランシスコ）との時差を考慮したミーティング等が発生可能性があるため、業務状況に合わせた柔軟な時間調整が可能です。・休日・休暇：完全週休2日制（土日祝）、年次有給休暇、年末年始休暇、夏季休暇、慶弔休暇・加入保険：健康保険、厚生年金保険、雇用保険、労災保険（社会保険完備）・給与レンジ：1,500万円～3,000万円（95,000～160,000 USD相当）　賞与：年1回、基本給の最大30%を支給（業績等に応じて）　引越し支援：最大50万円
応募資格	【必須（MUST）】・CNCエンジニアリングおよび機械加工分野で10年以上の実務経験・MastercamやHyperMillによるプログラミングおよびCNC加工検証のスキル・外観品質・デザイン品質が重視される樹脂部品の加工経験・試作から量産まで、製品開発全体を通したCNC治具設計の実績・10+ years of manufacturing or factory operations experience (specifically in CNC engineering and machining). ・Expert Mastercam skills or HyperMill skills and experience designing tooling, fixtures, jigs, or automated equipment. ・Experience processing plastic cosmetic components where high visual/industrial design standards are required. ・Proven track record of scaling products from prototype through high-volume production. 【歓迎（WANT）】・コンシューマーエレクトロニクス業界で15年以上の経験・試作から量産立ち上げまで製品開発をリードした経験・日本の製造業・サプライヤーとの協業経験や知識・英語力・15+ years of consumer electronics manufacturing experience 　(or 10+ years of experience in a consumer electronics or CNC fabrication company). ・Professional English proficiency (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is preferred but NOT a required must. ・Experience bringing consumer electronic products from development through production. ・Familiarity with Japanese manufacturing and supplier ecosystems. ※英語力は必須ではありません。本社のメカニックディレクターと連携する意欲や、英語でのコミュニケーションに抵抗がない方を歓迎します。社内サポート体制もあります。
