We are developing next-generation intelligent eyewear (smart glasses) powered by our proprietary, ultra-low latency Conversational Speech Model. ■ Mission & Background We are gearing up for the global launch of our intelligent eyewear (smart glasses) in 2027. To prepare for mass production, we have decided to establish our new factory in Fukui, Japan, a region renowned for world-class eyewear manufacturing technology and a rich precision processing ecosystem. With a clear milestone to fully complete the product in one year, we are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer to own tooling design, process development, and operational troubleshooting. We value high autonomy and a proactive mindset—someone who can grasp high-level goals and drive execution with minimal supervision. ■ Team & Organization You will join a flat, lean organization made up of highly talented professionals. You will receive assignments from and partner closely with our Manufacturing Director, who travels frequently between Japan and the U.S., while collaborating tightly with the U.S. engineering team to align on development plans, KPIs, and goals. While this is primarily an individual contributor role requiring deep technical expertise and hands-on execution, we highly value leadership potential for expanding the team in the future. We welcome Senior Engineers, Managers, or Directors who are ready to roll up their sleeves and build from the ground up. ■ Responsibilities ・Design and develop assembly fixtures, jigs, and manufacturing tooling using 3D CAD. ・Serve as the primary point of contact for fabrication partners in Japan and internationally. ・Procure, assemble, validate, maintain, and improve fixtures, jigs, and related equipment. ・Troubleshoot manufacturing tooling issues to improve quality, yield, and throughput. ・Manage external partners developing fixtures, jigs, test systems, and equipment. ・Partner with Factory Operations leadership to achieve quality and operational goals. ・Collaborate with automation vendors to deploy and optimize robotic manufacturing solutions. ・Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and processes. ・Support NPI and process development in collaboration with the U.S. engineering team. ・Travel as needed to suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure successful execution. ■ Key Attractions ・World-Class Compensation Package: We offer JPY 15M - 25M base salary, an annual performance bonus of up to 30%, and relocation support up to 500,000 JPY. 応募資格	【必須（MUST）】・機械設計、生産技術、製造技術、治具設計、または関連分野で7年以上の実務経験・CADを用いた治具、ツーリング、自動化設備設計の豊富な経験・樹脂、金属、接着剤などの材料知識、および切削加工、射出成形、プレス加工、組立工程に関する知識・製造工程、品質、歩留まり改善の実績を伴う高い問題解決能力・サプライヤー、製作パートナー、エンジニアリングチームとの協業経験・機械工学系学士号、または同等の実務経験・7+ years in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, tooling, or related. ・Expert CAD skills and experience designing tooling, fixtures, jigs, or automated equipment. ・Strong understanding of materials (plastics, metals, adhesives) and manufacturing processes including machining, injection molding, ・stamping, fabrication, and assembly. ・Proven problem-solving ability with experience improving processes, quality, and yield. ・Comfortable working with suppliers, fabrication partners, and engineering teams. ・Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 【歓迎（WANT）】・コンシューマーエレクトロニクス、精密製造業、または関連業界で10年以上の経験・コンシューマー製品の開発から量産立ち上げ（NPI）までの経験・ウェアラブル製品など、外観品質・工業デザイン要求の高い製品の量産経験・機械工学修士号、または同等の実務経験・指示待ちではなく、自ら必要な業務を判断・推進できる主体性・英語力・Professional proficiency in English is preferred, but not required. ・Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. ・10+ years of experience in consumer electronics, precision manufacturing, or related industry. ・Experience bringing consumer electronic products from development through production. ・Experience shipping wearable products with demanding industrial design, cosmetic, and quality requirements. ※英語力は必須ではありません。本社のメカニックディレクターと連携する意欲や、英語でのコミュニケーションに抵抗がない方を歓迎します。社内サポート体制もあります。
