We are undergoing a Digital transformation initiative across the company focused on leveraging the power of digital and data across the business in all aspects Digital Process Transformation and Automation Lead position supports the Automation of business processes across the company.
Primary activities / responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to translate business strategies into executable plans, design and develop solutions in agile and iterative methods.
Develop IT projects to meet the business needs of the customers and ensure that IT initiatives are met in a timely manner.
Identify optimization opportunities and innovative pilot/POC with stakeholders across the company. Provide strategic expertise and thought leadership for the enterprise platforms, engagements and technology.
Create ”innovative” process automation solutions and understand the latest technologies combined with the strong business acumen. Design, develop and deliver new automated objects and processes that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand, in collaboration with team members in Japan and overseas.
Develop strategy through data collection and client interviews to recommend the optimal RPA （Robotics Process Automation） solution（s） based on client needs, scope and prioritize processes for automation, cost－benefit analysis, operating model development and building an implementation road map and business case.
Conduct post implementation project reviews detailing and measuring the key benefits delivered.
•Ability to translate business requirements into optimum solutions, complying with departmental and product standards
•Strong analytical skills, including the ability to understand complex issues, gather and analyze data into trends / results, structure problems and design solutions
•Superior collaboration skills and communication skills, and ability to collaborate well in a matrix environment, ”enterprise leader”
•A minimum of 10 years of experience in a client facing role with a focus on Process Improvements and Automation
•Experience in implementing systems utilizing SDLC methodology in a regulated environment
•Proficiency in all aspects of the systems lifecycle using sound principles of system design, planning and execution
•Technology roadmap development and implementation experience
•Ability to manage through complexity and ambiguity
•Good understanding of agile delivery approach to guide cross－functional teams for project execution and deliveries
•Awareness of relevant industry business, information and technology trends, in and out of the pharmaceutical industry
•Must be able to adapt and rapidly learn new technologies and apply their findings to solve key business challenges. Natural curiosity and a desire to do things differently
•Very good understanding of new emerging technologies and leading technology trends including the latest process automation solutions, disruptive technologies and security methodologies to maintain integrity and security of new and existing systems
•Ability to build frameworks, models and synthesize large amounts of information in development of well－structured points of view
•Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and manage internal and external client expectations on project requirements and deliverables
•Be a strong team player to collaborate with geographically distributed teams, off－shore development teams and third－party vendors. Strong interpersonal skills to engage with people at all levels of the organization （both technical and non－technical）.

•Experience managing or coaching people
•Be energetic, forward－looking, influential with strong curiosity on diverse topics both technical and non－technical
•Be highly adaptable and flexible to respond and adapt to changes
•Excellent language proficiency in Japanese and English
Bachelors or above, or equivalent knowledge
