Loro Piana Japan is looking for a Senior VMD Manager who is responsible for upholding the Loro Piana brand image by managing and executing extraordinary window creativity and interior visual merchandising by unifying the local business strategy, and the global VM expectations within both the retail, outlet, and wholesale channels to achieve net sales and KPIs. This role oversees the fostering and development of relationships amongst store teams and acts as a liaison between the MD Director, Visual Ambassadors, Business Managers, Store Managers, and store teams. As a brand ambassador, the role embodies the Loro Piana spirit by expressing the brand’s history, culture and values through the visual merchandising lens. 【Responsibilities】 ・Executing all VM actions required to maximize business results in line with the visual strategy delivered by the MD Director and business partners ・Weekly meeting with MD Director to align and define all responsibilities and priorities inclusive of rotation schedule, installation planning, travel agenda, VM and creative guideline review, store visit insight, team communication, special projects and administration ・Guiding and facilitating weekly touch bases with all business partners to align on the following: travel, upcoming rotations, floor planning, business reactivity, identifying visual opportunities and successes ・Responsible for partnering with the marketing and merchandising team to execute in-store and offsite collection events: caravans, trunk shows, personalizations, and special collaborations. ・Managing and executing all VM rotations in partnership with the MD Director, Visual Ambassadors, business partners, Store Managers and in-store teams while utilizing global VM guidelines to ensure Loro Piana’s brand integrity is upheld ・Develop accountable relationships within the WHL channel to sustain brand VM expectations, including business partners, floor managers, department heads and DSAs ・Executing extraordinary displays that convey a brand mood and theme while also achieving a strong balance of commerciality and cross-selling within the RTL and WHL channels ・Monthly rotations, trunk shows, special projects, and travel will require to be flexible to work outside of normal business hours inclusive of weekends to the needs of the business ・Manage the VM maintenance, store environment and technical clarity of all client-facing areas which include: windows, interiors, mannequin styling, VM tool use, campaign images/digital, logo visibility and fixture placement ・Collaborate with all business partners and in-store team to ensure the VM inventory is well organized and maintained at all times ・Guide and manage the facilitation of all VM training throughout the season as well as during the onboarding of new sales professionals and DSAs alongside the Regional Manager and business partners. In addition, identify visual training opportunities and provide the necessary feedback and training strategy ・Take the initiative to consistently propose elevated display solutions to the MD Director of Visual Merchandising in line with the brand vision ・Work with business partners and the MD Director to develop a visual strategy to support peak seasonal periods, including rotation schedule, window styling and collection placement |
| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 ・Fluent in both English and Japanese(Excellent written and verbal communication skills) ・Proficiency with Microsoft applications ・Minimum of 8 years or equivalent work experience ・Creative Experience: styling, merchandising, and/or art background ・Multiple-store experience within RTL and WHL ・Management experience 【歓迎（WANT）】 Bachelor’s degree preferred・Excellent time management ・Excellent execution skills ・Agility to lead change, flexibility and receptivity to constructive feedback ・Cooperative, collaborative and team-focused ・Methodical and detail-oriented ・Strong visual skills and aesthetic sensibility ・Strong interpersonal skills ・Problem-Solving ・Customer Service focused with excellent communication skills |
