仕事内容 We're looking for a Senior Manager, Clinical Project Operations, to help us to accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?

We are a healthtech company using data for good to power smarter care for every person with cancer, around the world. We partner with cancer centers in the US, Europe and Asia to transform patients’ real-life experiences into real-world evidence and create a more modern, connected oncology ecosystem. Our multidisciplinary teams include oncologists, data scientists, software engineers, epidemiologists, product experts and more.

What You'll Do
In this role, you'll work with the Unstructured Data Processing (UDP) team in our Tokyo office, to build and sustain operational systems and processes that support Flatiron’s capabilities to provide real-world data at industry-leading scale and depth. Our data solutions and services rely on data operations called “abstraction”, which pair advanced technology with expert clinical specialists to collect complex insights from a variety of clinical documents. Through our abstraction processes, we are able to transform unstructured data to usable structured data at scale.

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll oversee the Clinical Data Specialist team that designs our proprietary abstraction approach as well as the Abstraction Specialist team, to operationalize the overall abstraction R&D and implementation. You will be responsible for tracking the growth and change in demand for abstraction across our products and for translating this into reliable product development and workforce operations plans. You will collaborate with key cross-functional partners across a broad range of functions internally to drive our data capability strategy forward. You will define and measure metrics to evaluate key performance goals and promote effective and efficient management of production operations and quality. In addition you will:
- Manage Clinical Data Specialists, including providing feedback, removing roadblocks, and coaching team members, to build and maintain a high performing team
- Manage the team’s capacity, including hiring, onboarding, training, and staffing to projects
- Collaborate with other members of our UDP team in Japan and across the world, to improve speed and flexibility within our abstraction processes, using data to develop and test hypotheses that enable the team to grow abstraction capacity and reduce cost
- Define and implement strategies to scale our abstraction workforce to meet our growing abstraction demand
- Partner with cross functional teams including product development, software engineering, and business development, to execute our abstraction efficiency plan, dynamically adapt to changes, and drive new data capability development forward in Japan
- Working with experts in our Compliance, Quality and Regulatory Policy teams, identify and implement documentation, governance, and training policies required for generating regulators' buy-in for our Unstructured Data Processing methodologies in Japan
- Advocate for operational and technical solutions that accelerate progress, promote reliability and sustainability of our business processes
- Lead problem-solving discussions with internal stakeholders to ensure teams are collectively making data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define data quality control strategies related to abstraction and workforce proficiency
