As a Offshore Structural Engineer your primary responsibilities will be to: Support the design of primary structural steel for offshore wind turbines as part of the Nigata Offshore Wind project Supervise the delivery of the foundation engineering inputs for the CDIT/METI certification process Assist the structural engineering activities during the FEED/Basic, and Detailed Design stages of the project, and then continue supporting the project on into fabrication and construction stages Mentor and develop the junior and associate colleagues within the team and across the wider business Ensure that all lessons learned from our operating fleet are incorporated into future projects Provide technical support to Procurement, Quality and HSSE departments Work closely across all interfaces with; internal stakeholders, external design houses, certification authorities, and fabrication contractors to produce cost effective and value－added solutions |
