【募集の背景 / Purpose & Scope】
創薬アクセレレーター(DA)は、新たな革新的なサイエンスから真に価値のあるプロダクトを患者さんに届ける組織です。Ideation & Creationグループでは新たなVenture Unitの源泉となるInnovationを産み出す為の創薬エコシステムを社内外に展開しており、主にIncubation、Start-up段階にあるプロジェクトを主体的に貢献する創薬エキスパートを必要としています。今回、Ideation and creation (I&C)において、メディシナルケミストとして、特許調査をもとにしたプロジェクトの戦略作成、プレリード、リード化合物の創製を通じたVenture Unitの創出に貢献していただきます。創薬エキスパートチームの他の研究者やfounder scientist、薬物動態、毒性学などの研究者と密接に連携する必要があります。

Drug Discovery Accelerator (DA) is an organization that delivers truly valuable products from new and innovative science to patients. The Ideation & Creation Group is developing a drug discovery ecosystem both internally and externally to generate innovation leading to future Venture Units. We need a drug discovery expert with comprehensive knowledge. A medicinal chemist in Ideation and Creation (I&C) will contribute to the creation of a Venture Unit through the creation of project strategies based on patent research, pre-lead, and lead compound creation. A person in this position will need to work closely with other researchers on the drug discovery expert team, founder scientists, ADME, and toxicology researchers.


【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】

- 新しいアイデアの創出、目標とする臨床候補品のプロファイリング、創薬化学の専門知識、科学的価値の説明など、医薬品に関する能力を専門家レベルで発揮し、進化させる。
- 研究プログラムのチームのメンバーとして、チーム内のリソースの優先順位付けと割り当て、タイムスケジュールを設定する。
- 研究プログラムチームを率いての行動計画、合成計画の策定、スケジュール達成、研究部門、アステラス内の他グローバル部門、外部チームなどのステークホルダーとの積極的な関わりを全体的かつ自主的に行うことができる。

- Demonstrating and evolving pharma capability such as new idea generation, target product profiling, medicinal chemistry expertise and scientific value explanation at a professional level.
- As a member of a research programme team, prioritise and allocate resources within the team and set time schedules.
- Entirely and independently leading research program team in planning action, synthesis plan development, schedule achievement and engage actively with stakeholders such as research divisions, other global divisions in Astellas and external teams.

【給与 / Salary】
①基本給：当人の経歴・技術・技能等を考慮して決定
②裁量労働制の場合：裁量労働手当として職務グレードに応じて50,000～100,000円支給
③フレックスタイム制の場合：月間の所定労働時間を超えて勤務する時間に対して時間外勤務手当を支給
①Base salary: will be decided by the candidate's experience, skill and capability.
②When Discretionary Work System is applied: Discretionary work allowance will be paid.(50,000～100,000yen, based on the Grade)
③When Flextime System is applied: Overtime allowance will be paid for time worked in excess of prescribed working hours.

応募資格

【必須（MUST）】

- Chemistry MS with +6 years experience in research at pharma or chemistry PhD degree with +3 years experience in research at pharma.

【歓迎（WANT）】

- Knowledge and experience of AI, and Robotics.
- Experience in CRO management.
- Experience of working with international stakeholders.

【応募要件 / Qualifications】
- Strong expertise in medicinal chemistry from early phase through lead optimization and development candidate selection.
- Experience with overseeing execution at CRO teams, especially in troubleshooting and enhancing CRO performance and productivity.
- Self-motivated, excellent communication skills.
