Our External and Legal Affairs department (CELA) is recruiting an experienced attorney to join its compliance team in Asia. The attorney will assist the company in its continuing commitment to comply with laws, regulations and policies governing business activities across the region. The compliance team is responsible for conducting internal investigations, providing advice on legal compliance matters and partnering with the business to create a culture of compliance. The attorney will work on internal investigations and serve as a compliance advisor to the Japan leadership team, in addition to covering other work in Asia. The attorney will report directly to the Assistant General Counsel responsible for the CELA Asia Compliance team, partner with other RCDs in the global team and work closely with the Business and Regulatory Investigations (“BRI”) team based in company’s corporate headquarters. The attorney will work as part of a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team in Asia that includes government affairs professionals, attorneys, investigators, and administrators. Leading and conducting internal compliance investigations in accordance with the BRI Investigations Manual and Framework and assisting with corresponding remediation plan recommendations. Participating in compliance committees by sharing investigations learnings with senior leadership and other key stakeholders to support remediation, control enhancement and enhancement of compliance culture. Acting as Compliance SME to the business leadership on issues important to ensuring company complies with relevant laws and regulations, such as the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, in coordination with BRI, HR and Finance. Driving the evolution of the CELA compliance team to strengthen and enhance company’s ability to grow its business with partners and customers in a dynamic environment while responding with agility to emerging risks and regulations. Some travel within the region will be required. Candidate Attributes: Strong commitment to and reputation for integrity. A strong grasp of employment, privacy, and other requirements relating to internal investigations, including the impact of local laws in Japan and other jurisdictions in Asia. |

【必須(MUST)】 10+ years of work experience in internal or corporate investigations or compliance, preferably with experience in Japan. Experience in other markets in Asia and elsewhere is a plus. |
