The localization specialist is responsible for managing mobile app and web UI localization projects, and general L10N requests. Working closely with Product, Design, Dev, UX writers, Marketing, Ops and our localization vendors, the localization specialist is expected to be proactive and address all stakeholders' pain points, manage localization projects in an efficient way with quality assured via effective quality control strategies. This is a fixed-term employee role. Responsibilities 1. Manage and enable localization projects of mobile apps and website UI of LIVE, as well as strategic campaigns or content with highly specific requirements, focusing on East Asian and South East Asian markets 2. Collect and compile necessary info from internal stakeholders, and ensure that vendor linguists are well-informed of contexts about various localization projects 3. Ensure a keen grasp of language nuances and cultural elements for marketing copies 4. Ensure quality of the product and highly visible materials through quality assurance and bug fixing, taking a hands-on approach as necessary 5. Contribute to process redesign for language-related initiatives 6. Identify areas of improvement in the product content pipeline and keep iterating for better efficiency 7. Participate in other localization-related initiatives and proactively contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement |
| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 Minimum qualifications1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in localization, language, journalism, business administration 2. Highly proficient in Japanese, and also proficient in English. 3. 1-2 years of translation project management with experience in using content management systems or enterprise translation management system (REQUIRED) 4. A track-record of delivering high-quality Japanese content whose storytelling element has been adapted to be fit for the Japanese market 5. Team player with strong logical thinking and learning abilities, objective-driven, detail-oriented 6. Be grounded and humble, sincere and candid 7. Able to communicate confidently and effectively to stakeholders of all levels 8. Degree in linguistics, writing, translations or demonstrable equivalent work experience 【歓迎（WANT）】 Preferred qualifications1. Experience in Japanese creative copy writing, localization, journalism, public communications or the online marketing/advertising industry 2. Experience in content project management within fast-paced environments with complex stakeholder landscapes |
