Position Summary: The Implementation Consultant works within the Professional Services Organization. This position will serve in a business and technical consulting capacity to understand customer business requirements and apply them to our application to ensure customers’ success. The software is delivered in a cloud-based, on-demand environment and the candidate will work directly with global customers to deliver complex, global supply chain solutions. Essential Duties: • Demonstrates expertise in software implementations and supply chain and applies industry knowledge to decipher customer needs • Utilizes consultative approach in gathering customer requirements in a clear and accurate manner, understands the overall vision of the project, and collaborates closely with the Solution Architect in building solution designs • Configures our application and collaborates with technical teams for the implementation of integrations and customizations • Leverages our product expertise to guide customers on the solutions and configurations • Develops functional design specifications and technical designs • Acts resourcefully when trying to understand and resolve an issue • Works closely with and builds positive relationships with customer project teams • Effectively communicates a variety of information (e.g., technical details, status updates, obstacles and challenges being faced, strategies for resolving issues, reporting and interpretation of data) in a way that the customer understands and finds meaningful • Responsible for collaborating regularly with global, multicultural teams • Organizes and conducts customer training to drive adoption • Provides input to build the deployment plan and support solution rollout • Monitors solution stability post-implementation and provides support to ensure business continuity Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management or a relevant field • 4+ years of experience working in Supply Chain, Consulting or Technology • Ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues, analyze complex problems, and formulate alternative approaches • Effective written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English languages • Ability to prepare and deliver effective oral presentations in both Japanese and English languages based on the intended audience • Ability to present business process flows and technical applications • Comfortable working on multiple projects and task simultaneously, excellent attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with integrations using XML, JSON or X12 formats • Experience/Understanding of ERPs |
