Overview: An opportunity to join our Design, a global team of talented architecture and interior design professionals operating within the largest commercial real estate services company in the world. Our ambition is to deliver exceptional design solutions for our clients, working within a creative cultural environment of teamwork, innovation and creative verve. We are a fast-growing design community strengthened by the extensive resources and services across our global platform. The Interior Designer will work within the Japan Design Team on interior design projects and support the growth of our interior design capability in Japan, and across the region. Our Japan Design Studio forms part of a larger growth strategy to create a regional design capability extending across Asia Pacific, that will compliment and align with the existing global design network with over 300+ design professionals in the US, and EMEA. Regional design teams will work alongside our APAC project management division of 2000+ project and construction management professionals. Under limited supervision, the Interior Designer will perform a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard design techniques for small to large projects. Exercises independent judgment in evaluating selecting and applying standard design techniques and procedures. Able to provide design visualization input to support team pitches and concept design packages. Key Responsibilities: ・Responsible for carrying out the planning of project activities, workflow, and other day to day activities, to ensure goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame. ・Day to day respnsibility for developing design concepts, based on the programming requirements and generating project documentation. ・Coordinates with outside consultants, engineering disciplines and Project Managers. ・Construction and furnishings documentation. ・Responsible for code research, including obtaining necessary variance approvals. ・Perform other related duties as and when required. ・Learn our proprietary design and planning tools. ・Selects, designs and/or specifies furnishings, artwork, accessories and plans with oversight from the Senior and Creative Design Lead. ・Renders design ideas in form of drawings or illustrations and develops design concepts with oversight from the Senior Interior Designer and Creative Design Lead.. ・Interprets contracted scope of work. ・Prepares contract documents for construction and furnishings with oversight from the Senior Interior Designer. ・Responsible for CAD set-up/review of set-up of project. ・Develops construction document sheets. ・Develops construction details with oversight from leadership. ・Assembles presentations and "leave behinds" when pursuing new projects with oversight from Project Lead. |

【必須（MUST）】 Required Skills & Knowledge:・Relevant and appropriate experience in design roles within reputable design firms ・Substantial knowledge and experience working in the Japan market (with focus on Tokyo) ・Substantial experience with workplace interiors ・Extensive knowledge of furniture brands and styles ・Understanding of materials performance and availability in terms of Interior Construction ・Experience with interior design specifications ・Creative skills, technical skills, design visioning ・Design visualization ・Expert in all conventional aspects of technical design/architectural principles ・Experience with Revit, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Sketch-UP, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office ・Ability to work in a cloud-based environment Qualifications, Education & Experience: ・6+ years in design industry with relevant experience ・BA (minimum) in Interior Design / Architecture from reputable and accredited curriculum or board ・Commercial experience ・Strong digitization experience ・Japanese and English Languages required |
