Working closely with the Petcare sales director / Sales Operation Manager and the Snackfood business director / Sales Operation Manager in Japan, this role manages demand planning process, facilitates Demand Management Review （DMR） steps of Japan, and ensures the demand forecast meets the target accuracy.
This role is accountable for demand planning process and forecast accuracy of the demand forecast of Japan.
It is also responsible for inducting Petcare sales director, Petcare sale operation manager, Snackfood business director,
and Snackfood sales operation manager to deliver our objectives of Demand Management Review （DMR）.
This role plays a critical role of DMR steps as a facilitator of the steps.
・Facilitate S＆OP＋ Step2 （DMR） to drive discussion within the step and deliver the target set for the DMR.
・Oversees the total demand forecasting process and responsible for delivering the 2 years ＋ demand forecast for Japan business in collaboration with Sales Directors and Sales Operation team of Petcare and Snackfood.
・Manage and Improve demand forecast process.
・Provide input to S＆OP＋ Step1 （Portfolio Management Review – PMR） key stakeholders （Sales directors, Marketing Directors, Finance Director） for fiscal year sales target delivery and midterm growth maximization
・Develop and coach demand planning non－ manager associates in S＆OP＋ team.
・Actively lead team engagement improvement and junior talent development
◆Context and Scope
・As a facilitator of the DMR step of S＆OP＋, this position works closely with senior leaders within Japan.
・She/he overseas the overall forecasting process and sales volume forecast for existing and new products of the company.
・She/he also needs to provide inputs and insights to senior leaders for them to make right decisions to deliver fiscal year sales target and maximize midterm growth potential.
・She/he is expected to make a step change to current forecasting process/method to adopt to rapid changing environment in the most efficient and effective way.
・She/ne focus on succession planning for this role and develop non－manager associates working for demand planning.
・She/he leads team engagement and talent development, is expected to role model our culture and philosophy
・Demand forecasting or equivalent experience
・Business English （intermediate preferred）
