仕事内容 The Transformation Division, home of engineering and change teams, is responsible for the overall delivery of (and changes to) application environment.
Transformation develops passionate engineering and change professionals, equipped with a continuous learning mindset, always looking for the latest tools and technologies to improve their way of working and the solutions they deliver.
The Data Innovation Squad - which is composed of Transformation Division engineers, is in charge of defining company’s Data Strategy and driving digital adoption across all areas via a close engagement with the business and the implementation of a robust self-service data analytics platform.

Position Summary:
The Data Architect, reporting to Chapter Lead Data Science, will support the maturing of Data Strategy. The role is a key position supporting company-wide data initiatives implementation and governance.
The Data Architect is a specialist role supporting the definition of company’s data strategy and engaging with the business to drive their digital adoption, design advanced data solutions and build data capabilities that meet business needs while aligning to the data strategy and the goals and vision of the Technology area.
This role will be assigned to the Data Innovation Squad on a day to day basis, supporting the Product Owner Data Innovation.
This position will work closely with Product Owner Data Innovation, as well as, but not limited to, C-level executives, Product Owners, business managers and Power Users from all areas.

Key Accountabilities:
・Support the definition of data strategy to engage and support senior management in their digital journeys
・Design and advise on the design of advanced data solutions, from data ingestion and manipulation to advanced analytics.
・Responsible for improving engineering architectural designs for performance, availability, security, sustainability, and adherence to architectural aims.
・Build a Data Governance program and bring it to maturity with a strong business ownership
・Proactively evaluate and assess new data technologies and their applicability to the organization for availability, performance, and confidentiality
・Raise data awareness at every level of the organization via communication plans, training or other activities
・Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in high-pressure environments; excelling at pinpointing and resolving problems in early project stages to avoid cost/time expenses
・Work closely with Senior Management, Product Owners and Division Managers with the aim of meeting their current and future data needs

Qualification requirements Skills, Knowledge, Experience:
・Wide and current familiarity with data technology
・Demonstrated experience designing impactful data solutions for the business
・Hands-on experience of BI and/or data science coding using more than one recognized industry standard language
・Strong data preparation, data modeling and data management knowledge with both structured and unstructured data.
・Advanced understanding and actual experience on Cloud computing (Azure preferred, AWS, Google…) and ability to adapt to new technologies and data science techniques
・Ability to understand functional interdependencies and identify and resolve structural issues within the organization
・Business level English and Japanese
