仕事内容 Job Responsibility 職務の目的
This is a highly coveted innovation role, to participate in an internal venture capital
model with direct oversight by company Chief Officers.
Responsible for Customer Experience design, User Experience design, and/or User
Interface design for technology innovation at Japan.
To lead or participate in Design Thinking processes and become expert.
Must break the status quo and cause innovation. Be change agent.
Key Tasks & Accountabilities 職務内容
If Lead role, lead the creation of methodologies and training program for below.
Everyone is an innovator who challenges the status quo, to provide the best
customer experience we can provide.
Everyone participates in self-organized Squads with changing composition per
project, with minimal management oversight. There is no static team.
Have the ability to tap into human diversity to co-create solutions, breaking
silos.
May be asked to lead workshops related to your expertise, including Design
Thinking sessions.
Work along and collaborate with technologists and product manager on the
same team, to deliver rapid changes
Must lead and elevate customer-focused design as a core value of the company
Promote visual communication by doing (less documentation/talking, more
making)
If CX background:
Be an innovative designer (not an order taker; or requirement gatherer)
Design Research - customer analytics, customer interviews, surveys,
interpreting data into business insights
Customer journey mapping
Digital business model
Internal process mapping, a plus
If UX background:
Be an innovative designer (not an order taker; or requirement gatherer)
User journey mapping
Service Design Blue Print or similar mapping format
Prototyping of tech product – portfolio desired
Internal process mapping, a plus
If UI background:
Be an innovative designer (not an order taker; or requirement gatherer)
Prototyping of tech product – portfolio desired
User interface design of digital products – chat/text/web on mobile/web on PC
and other front end applications

Qualifications / Experience 必要知識、経験等
Experience in UI, UX, and/or CX, respectively; dual-roles are appreciated (e.g.
UX/UI, CX/UX, CX/UX/UI), and so is willingness to learn new skills
Bring portfolio
Communication & collaboration skills – we do Human Centered design
*Problem solve anything* attitude; entrepreneurial spirit
Preferably bilingual English / Japanese; will consider English only or Japanese
only for exceptional skills, if willing to learn language and operate in a bilingual
environment
Some sort of expertise to add to the diversity mix – e.g. industries, digital,
insurance, consumer, business analysis, project management, specific
technologies, tech business, prior innovation experience, strategy, and anything
else you feel that adds to taking an insurance company to a new business model
Highly desired:
Design Thinking experience
