We have more than 30,000 employees scattered across 30 countries in Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania, striving to expand our global markets and aiming to be the world’s leading and most trusted family of online travel brands that aspire to deliver the perfect trip at the best price for every traveller. ■Job Summary As Legal Counsel, based in the company’s office at Tokyo, Japan, you will directly support the company’s international business on commercial, regulatory and corporate matters in Japan. You will be working closely and directly reporting to Legal AVP of Overseas Legal Affairs who is based in Shanghai HQs. ■Key Roles and Responsibilities Commercial ＆ Corporate • Develop appropriate agreements to support new initiatives and projects for our company's international business in Japan; • Draft, negotiate and review commercial agreements that meet our company’s standards and commercial objectives • Coordinate with our company’s internal teams to ensure corporate records, licenses, and registrations are kept up－to－date at its Japan office Legal ＆ Regulatory • Familiarity with Japan data privacy law and consumer protection regulations, able to work with HQ team to enhance data privacy compliance programs; • Well versed with marketing law and labor regulations with a good track record of handling such marketing and labor claims; • Monitor and advise on legal and regulatory developments that impact our company’s operations in Japan; • Coordinate with compliance team to ensure that mandatory training is delivered, and that local activities comply with company’s policy ＆ standards; • Support the legal team in dealing with regulatory audits or investigations; • Supervise and manage external legal counsel and costs when needed; • Willing to cover Korean market when there are business needs Work approach • High energy and velocity; • Follow through and deliver; • Independence and ownership; • Able to run your own desk in line with the priorities of our company’s International business and legal team; • Collaborate effectively with other functions |

契約形態：正社員 契約期間：期間の定めなし 試用期間：あり（6カ月） 就業時間：9:30～18:30（休憩1時間） 残業 ：あり（平均月20時間） 就業場所：東京本社（東京都千代田区） 休日 ：土日、祝日 休暇 ：年次有給休暇（入社半年経過後12日付与）、夏季/年末年始/慶弔 給与改定：年1回 通勤手当：会社規定に基づき支給（上限月額50,000円） 社会保険：健康保険、厚生年金、労災保険、雇用保険 福利厚生：健康診断、４０１K、旅行手当など |
| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 ・Minimum 5 years of relevant in-house or private practice (law firm) experience, ideally a mix of both;・A law degree from an accredited University in Japan and qualification to practice law in Japan is strongly preferred ; ・Ability to communicate complex legal, contractual and other concepts into clear and concise language that business partners can easily process and act upon. ・Fluent in English and Japanese. |
