社内翻訳チームの一員として、フィッシャー・インベストメンツ・インスティテューショナル・グループの営業、サービス、リサーチ、コンテンツ、マーケティング、法務、コンプライアンスの各部門に翻訳サービスを提供します。本ポジションでは、日本語と英語の双方向の翻訳を担当します。
弊社のビジネス、業界、執筆スタイルを迅速に習得し、教育用、プロモーション用、およびサービス提供用のコンテンツの翻訳を通じて、社内クライアントに対する言語の専門家として重要な役割を担います。直属の上司は、社内翻訳チームのリーダーとなります。

The Opportunity:
As part of the firm's in-house translation team, you will provide translation services to internal clients across Fisher Investments Institutional Group’s Sales, Service, Research, Content, Marketing, Legal and Compliance departments. This position includes translation to and from Japanese and English. You will quickly learn about our business, industry, and writing style as you translate our educational, promotional, and service-oriented content across the markets we operate in. You will serve as the primary language expert for internal clients across the firm, while playing an important role in our ability to fulfil translation needs. You will report directly to the in-house translation team leader.


【主な業務内容】
日本の機関投資家向けに、主に以下の資本市場関連コンテンツの翻訳および関連業務を行います：
● レポート、解説、プレゼン資料、定期的なポートフォリオ更新、顧客サービス用資料、営業用資料、提案依頼書(RFP)、四半期報告書など。
● 日本市場向けのトーンおよび言語スタイルガイドの作成。
● 日本語の用語ベース(ターミノロジーベース)の構築と維持。
● すべての翻訳物におけるコンプライアンス要件の遵守。
● 金融、マーケティング、法務、教育資料などのローカライズ。
● 言語品質管理および校正業務。
● 日本語翻訳プロジェクトの管理と優先順位付け。
● その他、管理職の指示に基づくアドホックなプロジェクトや口頭翻訳。

The Day-to-Day:
Translate capital markets related content for our Japanese institutional clients, including:
•Reporting/commentary, presentations, content pieces, periodic portfolio updates, client service presentations, sales presentations, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and quarterly reviews
•Develop tone and language style guides for the Japanese market
•Develop and maintain terminology bases for Japanese
•Understand and ensure compliance requirements in all translated materials
•Showcase excellent written and verbal communication skills to localise multiple content types such as financial, marketing, legal and educational materials
•Excel in linguistic quality management and proofreading
•Project manage Japanese translations commissioned by the business, prioritising according to business needs
•Ad-hoc projects and verbal translations as directed by management

応募資格

【必須（MUST）】

● 言語能力: 日本語が母国語であること。ビジネス英語に堪能であること。
● 学歴・資格: 翻訳、言語学、コミュニケーション学の学位、または関連する専門資格。
● 経験: 5年以上の翻訳実務経験。金融サービス業界での経験があれば尚可。
● CATツール(翻訳支援ツール)やTMS(翻訳管理システム)に関する知識(あれば尚可)。
● 正確性、一貫性、文法、明快さを重視した高度な編集能力。
● 複雑なプロジェクトを厳しい期限の下で調整・管理できる能力。
● 卓越したコミュニケーション能力、組織運営能力、タイムマネジメント能力。
● 自律的に大量の業務に取り組める能力。
● 日本での事業成長を支えたいという意欲とクライアント重視の姿勢


Your Qualifications:
•Japanese native speaker. Fluency in business English is required
•Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or other professional certification related to translation or localisation
•5+ years of experience in translation
•Experience as a Translator, with financial services industry background is advantageous
•Knowledge of CAT tools, TMS technology, and translation practices is beneficial
•Experience editing for clarity, grammar, spelling, consistency and accuracy with few revisions needed
•Manage complexity and coordinate projects across several departments under strict timelines
•Outstanding communication, organizational, and time management skills
•Ability to work autonomously on a large volume of work in a small and demanding environment
•Client focus with desire to support our growth in Japan
