仕事内容 Responsible for managing and growing sales within the West Japan territory for a portfolio of life science research and laboratory solutions. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, and building strong relationships with research organizations, academic institutions, and commercial customers.

The successful candidate will lead consultative sales discussions, understand customer research and laboratory needs, deliver presentations and demonstrations, and guide customers through the purchasing process. This position requires close collaboration with technical specialists, distributors, and internal teams to ensure customer success and business growth.

The role offers significant autonomy and responsibility, including territory planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and achieving annual sales objectives.
労働条件 Full-time permanent employee

Flexible working environment with remote work available

Frequent domestic travel within Japan, including overnight travel as required (approximately 25%)

応募資格

【必須(MUST)】

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field

Minimum 3 years of sales experience selling life science research instruments, laboratory equipment, or related scientific products

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

Strong consultative selling and account management skills

Ability to independently conduct customer facing technical and commercial discussions

Native or fluent Japanese and business level English

Willingness to travel throughout Japan

Experience selling analytical instruments, laboratory equipment, or research tools

Experience managing distributor or channel partner relationships

Experience using CRM systems

Existing network within academic, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life science research organizations

Experience developing new territories and acquiring new customers

Strong presentation and demonstration skills

Ideal candidates are self, motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast, paced environment. The successful individual will enjoy building new business, developing customer relationships, and identifying growth opportunities within an assigned territory.
