GENERAL SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated colleague to help lead the next phase of our business expansion. Starr is looking to recruit a Financial Lines Underwriter as part of our continued growth strategy. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals who wish to leverage their expertise, engage directly with the market, and play an active role in driving business growth. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Underwrite Directors & Officers Liability Insurance as the core product, including primary and excess layers, in line with underwriting authority, guidelines, and risk appetite. Handle underwriting administration, including policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, data entry, documentation, and maintenance of underwriting files. Maintaining close relationships with brokers and participating in client and broker meetings. Report to Head of Financial Lines Japan EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university or equivalent (required) Min. 3 years of experience in Sales or Broking of Financial Lines products; or Hands-on underwriting experience in Financial Lines Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency Strong communication skills in market-facing roles Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. 応募資格	【必須（MUST）】・営業やアンダーライティング等、企業保険に関わったご経験（5年以上）・保険業法および損保マーケットに関する基本的な知識・ステークホルダーと良好な関係を築くための、コミュニケーション力、交渉力など・ビジネスレベルの英語力とネイティブレベルの日本語力【歓迎（WANT）】・国内外に跨る保険プログラムに関与したご経験大卒以上
