仕事内容 ■ Position Summary
The FP&A Manager is responsible for driving Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and business decision support across Japan company.
This role acts as a key business partner to leadership and cross-functional teams — especially Retail, E-commerce, and Wholesale — translating financial data into clear insight, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting decision-making to help the business achieve its financial targets.
The position leads budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, performance management, and commercial finance activities, with a strong focus on sales, gross margin, operating expenses, and channel profitability across retail and e-commerce channels. A strong understanding of how retail, e-commerce, and wholesale businesses work is essential for success in this role.
It is well suited to a finance professional who combines strong analytical capability, financial modeling, ERP / BI experience, and commercial judgment with a hands-on approach.

■ Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Budget Management
• Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning.
• Consolidate and align inputs from all functions, including Retail, E-commerce, Marketing, Sales, HRGA, Logistics, IT, and HQ.
• Develop and maintain financial models across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Improve planning accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.
• Prepare clear and impactful management presentations with actionable insights.

2. Business Performance Management
• Analyze monthly results with variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
• Provide deep-dive insights on sales, gross margin, store performance, channel profitability, and cost structure.
• Monitor year-to-go performance and spending with functional leaders.
• Identify risks and opportunities early, and recommend practical actions to close gaps and improve performance.
• Support leadership with clear, fact-based recommendations.

3. Commercial & Operational Finance
• Partner with Retail, E-commerce, Wholesale, and Marketing teams to evaluate business initiatives and performance drivers.
• Conduct ROI analysis on promotions, campaigns, and investments.
• Analyze store-level performance, labour productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Develop tools to track customer metrics, channel profitability, and operating leverage.
• Support demand planning and inventory decisions through financial analysis.

4. Reporting & Analytics
• Own monthly management reporting and dashboard development, including the continued improvement of tools such as Power BI.
• Improve reporting structures, automation, and data visualization.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across systems.
• Coordinate with HQ on Group reporting requirements.

5. Strategic Projects & Process Improvement
• Drive initiatives to improve margin, pricing, and cost efficiency.
• Lead improvements in planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Support system upgrades and enhancements across ERP and BI tools.
• Contribute to building a more data-driven and performance-oriented organization.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Build strong partnerships with business teams across all functions.
• Influence decision-making through financial insight and structured analysis.
• Promote financial discipline and data-driven thinking across the organization.
応募資格

【必須(MUST)】

• 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), business planning, or commercial finance.
• Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to work with complex data sets.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights.
• Proven experience partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in lifestyle retail industries.
• Experience with e-commerce operations.
• Experience with ERP / BI systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), SAP, or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of how retail, e-commerce, and wholesale businesses operate.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Ability to balance operational execution with program design.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership of outcomes.
• Demonstrated track record of career stability and commitment.


■ Key Stakeholders
You will work closely with the Marketing team, Retail team, Store Managers, E-commerce team, Wholesale team, IT team, Finance team, external vendors / agencies, and Group / APAC stakeholders.
