仕事内容 Ownership and Accountability:
The GPO is responsible for the end-to-end management and continuous improvement of a specific global process within the organization.

• Architect and design cross-functional for end-to-end R2R process excellence
• Define R2R strategy and policy, set what constitutes process excellence, enforce organization-wide consistency and standardization of the process and own the roadmap for standardization, automation and continuous improvement across entities and business units.
• Integrate requirements from all process participants including business/functional units and ensure best-possible process from an overarching company perspective.
• Establish transparency on responsibilities for the full end-to-end process
• Define and monitor KPIs for end-to-end execution across functions and units for desired process outcome and performance by coordinating all process steps end-to-end.
• Lead technology-driven process design and adoption by partnering with GloBuS/CoE/IT/product owners to identify build vs buy, exploit ERP and close/consolidation/reconciliation tools, and enable automation (RPA, AI/ML) to move toward touchless accounting

Process Design and Standardization:
They ensure that the process is designed to meet organizational goals and is standardized across all relevant regions and functions.
• Architect and design cross-functional end-to-end process enforcing organization-wide consistency and standardization of the process.
• Integrate requirements from all process participants including business/functional units and ensure best-possible process from an overarching company perspective.
• Establish transparency on responsibilities of each function / unit for the full end-to-end process and ensure documentation is up to date.

Compliance and Governance:
• The GPO ensures that the process complies with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, including overseeing the creation, review, and approval of related global corporate documents.

• Collaboration and Communication: They collaborate with various stakeholders including Compliance, Legal, Quality Assurance, and Business Process Owners to align process requirements and improvements.

Performance Monitoring:
The GPO monitors process performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and drives corrective actions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Define and monitor KPIs for end-to-end execution across functions and units for desired process outcome and performance by coordinating all process steps end-to-end.

Training and Support:
They facilitate training and provide guidance to ensure consistent process execution globally.

Document Management:
They oversee the development and maintenance of global corporate documents such as Global Corporate Policies (GCPOLs) and Global Administrative Operating Procedures (GCAOPs), ensuring proper use of templates and adherence to document lifecycle requirements.

These responsibilities ensure that the global processes are effectively managed and aligned with our strategic objectives and compliance requirements.

<募集背景と候補者への期待>
This position is responsible for process design, standardization, and monitoring of the end-to-end process spanning from the collection of corporate transaction and activity data and recording entries into the accounting books, through to the reflection in financial statements and other management information. The role also carries responsibility for addressing related compliance and governance requirements, as well as training.

This is a newly established position based in Japan, which serves as the hub for consolidated financial reporting.

応募資格

【必須(MUST)】

<経験・スキル>
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese
• 5-6 years of experience in a management position with disciplinary authority for international teams
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Procurement / Finance sector
• Comprehensive knowledge of all finance processes, especially accounting and global business services
• Implemented technology-enabled solutions to support process improvements
• Acknowledged track-record of driving efficiency, enhancing processes, and strengthening policies at a strategic level, ensuring that operational practices are robust and future-proof
• Deep experience in effectively partnering with teams specializing in RPA, AI and ML implementations
• A thought leader who can define changing business needs and priorities and build a compelling case
• Proven track record of driving cost avoidance, cost reduction and value engineering initiatives that align to enterprise goals and develop operational excellence through industry knowledge
• Previously shown flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
• Experience improving processes through standardization, harmonisation and automation
• Developed and experience in communicating comprehensive process strategies, securing buy-in from cross-functional internal teams and external partners

<資格・身分・行動特性など>
• Masters degree in relevant field (e.g., business or operations management)
• CPA, CGMA or advanced certifications in process management (e.g., Lean Six Sigma or Business Process Modelling and Notation, Internal Control design)
• A thought leader who can define changing business needs and priorities and build a compelling case

• Strategic thinking and planning: Ability to effectively prioritize process enhancements in sync with enterprise goals, foreseeing business model evolution and enabling complementary initiatives
• Problem solving and analytics: Expertise in analyzing complex issues, identifying solutions and implementing innovative changes using technology and industry best practices to drive improvement
• Process design and improvement: Able to quickly gain an expert understanding of process performance, controls and customer needs to inform improvements. Ability to collaboratively work with various solution teams to execute changes using process management methodologies and best practices (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile)
• Relationship building and communication: Exceptional interpersonal, multicultural and collaboration skills to be proactive in building strong relationships (including with senior stakeholders) and influencing change across the organization.
• Change management expertise: Able to evaluate organizational capacity for change, design tailored strategies and collaborate with business stakeholders through influencing and service delivery teams through factual persuasion skills to facilitate seamless implementation. • Impact to the organisation: Influences decisions through advice, counseling or facilitating to others in area of specialization and explain complex information to build consensus in challenging situation
