Position Title Manager, Medical Science Liaison （MSL） Location / Work Style / Travel Tokyo area, Japan – 1–2 office days per week （flexible） Travel required for domestic and international scientific conferences Reporting Line Reports to Japan leadership （to be confirmed at offer stage） Position Summary The Medical Science Liaison （MSL） plays a key role in scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and researchers, supporting understanding of disease areas （e.g. oncology） and contributing to evidence generation. Through scientific engagement, congress activities, KOL interaction, and clinical research support, the MSL will execute medical strategy in collaboration with global teams. Responsibilities 1） Medical Information ＆ Compliance Provide accurate, balanced scientific information based on evidence and approved materials Handle off－label or unapproved inquiries in compliance with internal procedures and regulations Document and manage medical inquiries in line with compliance standards Collaborate with regulatory and cross－functional teams to align evidence with requirements Review medical materials to ensure accuracy and compliance Operate strictly in a non－promotional capacity 2） KOL Engagement ＆ Evidence Support Engage with KOLs to identify unmet needs, clinical questions, and research opportunities Support clinical studies including protocol review, site education, and investigator communication Provide scientific support related to clinical workflows and usage of medical solutions Attend conferences, collect insights, and share internally 3） Medical Excellence ＆ Cross－functional Collaboration Maintain deep knowledge of disease areas （e.g. oncology）, research trends, and competitive landscape Build and manage long－term KOL relationships Execute field activities aligned with medical strategy Support internal training and education initiatives Collaborate with global teams in English Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or related field ~5 years of experience in MSL, Medical Affairs, Clinical, CRA, or research roles Ability to interpret scientific data and engage in discussions with HCPs/KOLs Business－level English （meetings and documentation） Strong communication skills Ability to work proactively in a small team environment Willingness to travel Preferred Qualifications PhD or equivalent scientific/medical background Experience with clinical studies （IIS, observational studies, etc.） Experience in Medical/Clinical roles within healthcare industries Interest or experience in advanced diagnostics / precision medicine Experience with KOL engagement strategy Oncology KOL network 日本語版（匿名化） 職位 MSLマネージャー（メディカルサイエンスリエゾン） 勤務地 / 勤務スタイル / 出張 東京エリア（週1〜2日の出社、柔軟に調整可能） 国内外の学会参加に伴う出張あり レポートライン 日本法人のリーダーシップへレポート（内定時に確定） 職務概要 MSLは、医師・研究者との科学的交流を通じて、疾患領域（例：オンコロジー）に関する理解促進およびエビデンス創出に貢献するポジションです。 KOLとの連携、学会活動、臨床研究支援などを通じて、グローバルチームと協働しながらメディカル戦略を推進します。 職務内容 ① 医学・科学情報対応 エビデンスに基づく正確かつ中立的な情報提供 適応外・未承認領域への対応（社内手順・法規遵守） 問い合わせ内容の記録・管理 薬事・関連部門との連携 医学資料のレビュー（正確性・コンプライアンス） 非プロモーション活動の徹底 ② KOL連携・エビデンス創出支援 KOLとの科学的ディスカッションによるニーズ・課題の把握 臨床研究支援（プロトコルレビュー、施設教育、研究者対応） 医療関連ソリューションの科学的サポート 学会情報の収集・社内共有 ③ 専門性強化・社内連携 疾患領域（例：オンコロジー）や研究動向の知識向上 KOLネットワーク構築・維持 メディカルプランに基づく活動実行 社内トレーニングの企画・実施 グローバルチームとの英語での連携 応募要件 ライフサイエンス、医学、薬学等の学士以上 MSL、メディカル、臨床、CRA、研究等の経験（約5年） 科学文献の理解および医師とのディスカッション能力 英語での会議・資料作成が可能 高いコミュニケーション能力 主体的に業務を推進できる方 出張対応可能 歓迎要件 PhDまたは同等の専門性 臨床研究（IIS、観察研究など）の経験 医療業界におけるメディカル/臨床経験 先進医療・精密医療領域への関心 KOL戦略立案経験 オンコロジー領域のネットワーク |

【必須（MUST）】 Solid background in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a related field Around 5＋ years of experience in Medical Affairs, MSL, clinical research, or related roles involving interaction with healthcare professionals and external experts Ability to interpret scientific literature, summarise key findings, and discuss data with physicians and key opinion leaders Experience handling medical inquiries and providing balanced, evidence－based scientific information Understanding of compliance requirements and ability to operate in a non－promotional environment Business－level English for scientific discussions and documentation Strong communication skills （written and verbal） and ability to work cross－functionally Willingness to travel for scientific meetings and external engagement ライフサイエンス、医学、薬学、または関連分野のバックグラウンド メディカルアフェアーズ、MSL、臨床開発、または医療従事者との対応を含む関連業務経験（5年以上） 科学文献の読解・要約および医師・KOLとのディスカッション能力 医学的問い合わせ対応およびエビデンスに基づく情報提供の経験 コンプライアンスを理解し、非プロモーション環境で業務遂行できる能力 英語での科学的ディスカッションおよび資料作成が可能 高いコミュニケーション能力と部門横断的な連携力 学会参加等の出張対応が可能 【歓迎（WANT）】 English Advanced academic qualification （PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent） Experience supporting clinical studies, including investigator－initiated or observational studies Background in medical devices, diagnostics, or digital health－related fields Knowledge of oncology or other specialised therapeutic areas Experience engaging and managing relationships with key opinion leaders Familiarity with regulatory processes and clinical evidence requirements Experience contributing to medical strategy or insight generation PhD、医師、薬剤師などの高度な学位または同等の専門性 臨床研究（医師主導研究、観察研究等）の支援経験 医療機器、診断、デジタルヘルス領域での経験 オンコロジーなど特定疾患領域の知識 KOLとの関係構築およびマネジメント経験 薬事・規制要件やエビデンスに関する理解 メディカル戦略やインサイト創出への関与経験 Ability to work in a small, agile organisation with a hands－on approach Proactive mindset with the ability to operate independently Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Interest in scientific advancement and continuous learning Comfortable working in a global environment and collaborating across regions 少人数環境において主体的に業務を推進できる方 自律的に課題解決に取り組める方 複数業務を並行して管理できる高い業務遂行能力 医学・科学分野への関心および継続的な学習意欲 グローバル環境における業務および多国籍チームとの連携に対応可能 |
