The opportunity Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business unit has delivered more than 4,000 projects over the last 15 years. Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact. We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions. How you will make an impact This role leads the Sales and Marketing for the Grid Integration business unit in Japan in all respects. Full ownership for achieving Order Received and Order Profitability targets overall. This includes early marketing and lead generation, direct customer sales as well as responsibility for tendering. This role is leading a team of professionals to achieve planned results and budget and is part of the core Grid Integration M&S leadership for the region. Main Accountabilities Strategy Responsible for creating, planning and implementing the marketing (and communications) strategies for the assigned area in accordance with global marketing and sales strategy and budget. Produces action plans accordingly. Creates, plans and implements sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with LPG sales strategy. Achieves sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency. Targets Defines key Marketing & Sales targets in line with Division/Business Unit strategy and ensures these are achieved. Ownership of a sales budget with ownership for profitability targets. Business intelligence Identifies opportunities with existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area and determines plans for securing the opportunities. Marketing activities Responsible for the product marketing, industry, segment marketing and strategic and tactical marketing plans to support the relevant organization. Initiates, implements and reports market analysis and marketing activities. Ensures the market is monitored by developing and maintaining efficient marketing tools and implementing coordinated marketing analyses and activities. Competitive intelligence Collaborates internally and oversees preparation of competitor analyses ranging from full profit and loss account (P&L) and main financial data to company profile and net sales analysis. Information sharing Coordinates the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluates data to ensure achievement of goals. Monitors and provides reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence. Customer relations Supports the development of strong relationships with key customers. Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision makers. Ensures efficient marketing communications. Risk management Identifies and manages potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels. Sales process Takes ownership of the sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs People Management Lead the Grid Integration Sales and Marketing team, including Developing employee skills and performance through training and coaching Hiring, training, and developing new employees to meet organisational needs Providing feedback on employee performance, helping to develop employee skills where needed, and addressing performance problems in consultation with HRBP Living Hitachi Energy’s core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. |

【必須(MUST)】 Your backgroundYou hold a bachelor’s degree (degree in business or electrical engineering will be a plus) More than 15 years of solution sales experience in the Japan power grids industry (or nearby industry) with a great sales track record. Great understanding and knowledge of utility/energy clients and industry. At least 7 years of people management experience in sales. High fluency in Japanese and business level English is a must. Great stakeholder management skill, both internal and external. 【歓迎(WANT)】 Knowledge of substations and powergrids. |
