仕事内容 This is a founding commercial/GTM position for this company's Japan office and you will be the first member to join. You will build the GTM strategy and establish company's presence, closing the first Japan customers, and laying the foundation for a future Japan team. You will work directly with global executive leadership to define and execute Japan strategy.

This role suits an entrepreneurial, technically credible enterprise sales professional who thrives in a startup environment, has strong sales experience in Japan's competitive IT market selling to enterprise level clients.

応募資格

【必須(MUST)】

- 5+ years of enterprise B2B software sales experience, with a proven track record of closing 6-7 figure deals in Japan.
- Experience in selling cloud, SaaS, PaaS or cybersecurity solutions
- Strong existing network among CIOs, CTOs, data engineering leaders, and platform teams at large Japanese enterprises and growth-stage technology companies.
- Native Japanese and business level English proficiency required for internal global collaboration.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, able to work independently while leveraging global team resources effectively.



【歓迎(WANT)】

- Deep familiarity with the data infrastructure, analytics, observability, or cloud technology space. Experience selling databases, data warehouses, data platforms, or observability tools strongly preferred.
- Experience as a first or early sales hire at a US software startup expanding into Japan — understanding of the challenges of market entry and building from scratch.
- Experience partnering with Japanese system integrators (NTT DATA, Fujitsu, NEC, Accenture Japan, etc.) is a strong advantage.
