This position exists to lead research on oral absorption of poorly absorbable compounds, advance solubility and membrane-permeability-enhancing technologies, and collaborate with discovery, development, commercial, and strategy teams to drive drug discovery programs and propose new formulations for life cycle management. 技術統合研究所・DDS研究室では，世界の先端DDS/製剤技術を発掘・評価し，社内開発テーマや製品へ統合することで，患者さんに新たな価値を届けることを目指しています。本ポジションは，難吸収性化合物の経口吸収研究をリードし，溶解度と膜透過性向上技術を発展させると共に，創薬・開発・営業・戦略部門と連携して，創薬テーマ推進および製品ライフサイクルマネジメントに資する新規剤形を提案し推進する役割を担います。 【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】 （雇入れ直後） (At the time of hiring) • Investigate, design, propose and evaluate (in vitro / in vivo) oral absorption-enhancing formulations, including solubilization and membrane-permeation enhancers • Advance on non-clinical drug discovery projects in close collaboration with drug discovery researchers • Propose and lead development of new formulations for life cycle management of marketed and clinical-stage products, in collaboration with research, development, commercial, and strategy functions • Collaborate with and transfer technologies to formulation development teams toward IND submission • Manage several team members, ensuring performance, talent/skill development, engagement, and motivation • Share expertise on oral absorption, gastrointestinal science, and absorption-enhancing formulations across the organization to elevate overall capabilities ・可溶化・膜透過促進などの経口吸収促進製剤の調査，提案，処方検討，in vitro/in vivo評価 ・創薬研究者と連携した非臨床・創薬テーマの推進 ・研究・開発・営業・戦略部門と連携し，製品および臨床開発品の追加剤形ライフサイクルマネジメントの提案・推進 ・IND申請に向けた製剤開発チームとの協働および技術移管 ・数名の部下の成果創出・成長・働きやすさ・モチベーションのマネジメント ・経口吸収，消化管，吸収促進製剤の知識・経験を組織とメンバーに共有し，組織全体のレベル向上に貢献 【組織 / Organizational Context】 DDS Lab. proposes and drives the application of DDS technologies across multiple modalities and various administration routes to advance drug discovery projects and life cycle management of marketed and clinical-stage products. Members of DDS Lab. explore technologies from around the world, prepare formulations, and collaborate with external partners to evaluate them and select the best DDS formulations for purposes. We also collaborate with drug discovery researchers (Tsukuba and US), CMC researchers (Tsukuba and Yaizu), and development, commercial, and strategy functions (Tokyo, US, Europe) to advance on projects. DDS研究室は，様々なモダリティや投与経路のDDS技術を活用し，創薬テーマや，製品・臨床開発品のライフサイクルマネジメントに向けた追加剤形を提案・推進しています。DDS研究室のメンバーは，世界中の技術を探索し，製剤を調製する，あるいは社外と提携して，それらの評価を行い，目的に最適なDDS製剤を選定します。また，国内外の創薬研究者（つくば，米国），CMC研究者（つくば，焼津），開発・営業・戦略部門のメンバー（東京，米国，欧州）と協働しながらプロジェクトを推進します。 【就業環境に関する要件 / Specific Physical or Environmental Requirements】 This position is based in Tsukuba and will basically require on-site work. | 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 • Master’s degree (including six-year pharmacy program) or higher, or equivalent knowledge and expertise• More than 5 years of research experience and accomplishments in oral absorption-enhancing formulations (solubilization and membrane permeation-enhancing formulations) and gastrointestinal science ・修士（薬学6年生含む）卒以上もしくは同等の知識を有すると認められる方 ・経口吸収促進製剤（可溶化ならびに膜透過促進製剤）および消化管に関する研究の経験・実績5年以上 【歓迎（WANT）】 ・Industry experience at a pharmaceutical company conducting research on various oral absorption-enhancing formulations (solubilization and membrane permeation enhancers) and the gastrointestinal tract・Academic experience in research related to diverse oral absorption-enhancing formulations (e.g., Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Postdoctoral Fellow) ・Publications or a doctoral degree related to oral absorption-enhancing formulations ・English proficiency sufficient for global collaboration (e.g. TOEIC score of 730 or higher, or equivalent level) ・Experience proposing new formulations for life cycle management ・製薬会社において，多様な経口吸収促進製剤（可溶化ならびに膜透過促進製剤）および消化管に関する研究経験を有する方 ・アカデミアで，多様な経口吸収促進製剤の研究経験を有する方（准教授，助教，ポスドクなど） ・経口吸収促進製剤についての論文発表あるいは，博士号を取得された方 ・グローバルに業務推進できる英語力を有する方（TOEICスコア730点以上もしくは同等レベル） ・ライフサイクルマネジメントの観点から、追加剤形を提案した経験を有する方 |
