Job Purpose/Overview The JLT PMO acts as a strategic amplifier for Japan, elevating organizational alignment, execution capacity, and strategic visibility across APAC and Global. S&OP+ and MBR are core enterprise processes to enable this mandate, and the PMO will drive the process effectiveness by partnering with Finance team (S&F) to ensure decision integrity, leadership forum continuous improvement, and cross-functional orchestration. This role demands influence without authority in a global context, strong business acumen, strategic agility, and the resilience to navigate ambiguity while driving enterprise outcomes under complexity in organization and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities A. Transform JLT Operating Model & Effectiveness ● Redesign, orchestrate, and continuously improve JLT work efficiency (including GM assistant through PMO assistant role) governance, forums, and meeting architecture (agenda design, facilitation, decision quality, follow-through mechanisms including meeting minutes and action plan progress review) ● Act as Gatekeeper & Coach for JLT materials, ensuring clarity, strategic alignment, data integrity, and decision readiness ● Introduce levers that raise JLT execution rigor (dashboarding, signal tracking, prioritization frameworks,feedback loops) B. Elevate Japan’s Voice & Strategic Impact in Region/Global ● Lead high-stakes communications to Region/APAC/Global (narratives, business cases, strategy decks, performance reviews, stakeholder alignment) ● Act as Japan’s ambassador, ensuring proactive visibility, advocacy, and resource mobilization for Japan priorities ● Design storytelling that secures recognition, investment, sponsorship, or structural support for Japan at senior levels C. Lead Enterprise-Critical Transformation as Japan Owner ● Represent Japan as Country Lead / PMO Lead in global or regional transformation programs (e.g.,EOS, S&OP+, enterprise system/process evolution) ● S&OP+ and MBR process is one of most critical initiative to embed and operationalize growth strategy for Japan, partnering with the respective Finance, Supply and Demand leaders. ● Ensure local deployment quality: stakeholder alignment, change adoption, risk mitigation, benefit realization, governance cadence ● Maintain auditable program discipline: milestones, dependencies, quality gates, communications, training, success metrics D. Demonstrate PMO role as accelerator for JLT talent pipeline ● Embed PMO role as a launchpad into JLT careers by enabling direct influence on strategic discussions, business framing, and cross-functional outcomes ● Demonstrate enterprise mindset, influence without authority, structured thinking, and change leadership E. Evolve the PMO role itself ● Redefine PMO value year by year based on business needs (beyond process → into insight, influence,foresight) ● Institutionalize best practices that outlive the role tenure (toolkits, frameworks, playbooks, governance standards and technology including right AI utilization) ● Champion breakthrough thinking on how Japan operates and how cross-market collaboration is reimagined Relevant Quantitative and Budget Information Financial Staff 1 PMO Assistant Level of Role People Leader |
