We are supporting a rapidly expanding global industrial manufacturer in the renewable energy sector seeking a Deputy General Manager – International Business Development. This role will lead overseas market expansion, strategic partnerships, and large scale project development across key international markets. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving global growth and establishing new regional business operations. 1. Strategic Planning and Localization Execution Based on the Group’s global strategy, analyze overseas market environments (including policy, competition, and market demand) to develop forward-looking and practical regional business strategies. Identify growth opportunities through new markets, products, and business models, while defining supporting resources and risk mitigation plans to ensure effective implementation across overseas regions. 2. Overseas Market Operations and Performance Delivery Oversee overall overseas market operations and lead the achievement of assigned business targets. Demonstrate hands-on capability to develop new markets from scratch (0–1), while further expanding existing markets. Strong expertise in channel development, customer ecosystem building, localized brand operations, and revenue and profit management to drive both market share growth and profitability. 3. Full Lifecycle Project Risk Management Lead the end-to-end management of major overseas projects, including project initiation, tendering, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and to required quality standards. Identify and manage operational risks such as geopolitical challenges, compliance issues, supply chain constraints, and project execution risks. Establish early-warning systems and contingency mechanisms to ensure stable project and business delivery. 4. Cross-Cultural Team and Talent Management Build and manage diverse international teams and promote effective cross-cultural collaboration. Develop overseas talent pipelines in advance and strengthen team capability through incentives, empowerment, and continuous capability development to maintain a high-performing team and retain key talent. 5. Commercial Negotiation and Partnership Development Conduct complex commercial negotiations, contract reviews, and senior-level reporting in business English (or other relevant languages). Lead the development and maintenance of strong relationships with key international clients, strategic partners, local governments, and industry associations to safeguard company interests and support long-term cooperation. 6. Compliance Management and Process Implementation Possess strong knowledge of key legal and regulatory frameworks in overseas markets (including trade, labor, data privacy, and anti-bribery). Integrate compliance requirements across the full business process, including market development, project execution, and client partnerships, to mitigate legal and ethical risks and ensure compliant operations. 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Resource Integration Proactively identify cross-department collaboration needs and integrate internal and external resources across the Group. Coordinate solutions to complex cross-functional challenges in overseas business development, improve operational efficiency, and ensure adequate internal support for key overseas initiatives while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. 8. Team Leadership and Performance Improvement Lead the daily operations of the Overseas Business Center core team. Responsible for workforce planning, talent identification, retention, replacement, and capability development. Promote strong collaboration within the team while embodying the company’s core values and fostering a cohesive, high-performing, and results-driven culture. |
