By activating these messages across both sales channels (presentations, materials, talking points) and broader non-sales channels, the team builds widespread awareness and excitement among our key advertising partners. You will report to the Director of Ads Marketing, APAC, based in Singapore. | The Opportunity As the Japan Senior Ads Marketing Manager, you will coordinate the execution of Netflix Ads’ B2B marketing strategy across Japan, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives. This role requires a strategic marketer with strong operational expertise, skilled at building processes that facilitate seamless collaboration with international and cross-functional partners. You’ll be responsible for coordinating marketing initiatives, managing resources efficiently, and setting up frameworks that support consistent, high-impact campaigns across diverse markets. This person will act in the intersection of customers, brands and the advertising industry to fuel the Ads Marketing narrative through innovation and creativity. You will also engage in broader business strategies and actively pursue learning and development opportunities, continually growing and evolving as a Netflix marketer and leader. | Core Responsibilities: Develop Go-to-Market Strategies: ・Design and craft dynamic go-to-market strategies that empower the Sales team and resonate with advertising clients. ・Collaborate closely with the Global Ads Marketing team to ensure alignment with global strategy and brand positioning. ・Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution. Event Strategy & Industry Engagement: ・Lead Netflix Ads’ presence at local/ international industry events and custom client engagements, ensuring impactful representation and relevance at each touchpoint. ・Develop owned and operated events to become best-in-class executions . ・Collaborate with event planning teams to strategize and execute local events and partnerships, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. Business Goal Alignment: ・Synthesize business objectives to define key audiences and optimal channels for activation. ・Ensure marketing initiatives align with overarching business goals through effective communication with stakeholders. Data & Insights Analysis: ・Collaborate with data analytics teams to enrich the value proposition for advertising partners. ・Influence the definition of upcoming research considering the long term vision of the brand in Japan. Leadership Updates: ・Deliver consistent updates to leadership, providing a comprehensive view of successes, challenges, and opportunities. ・Ensure transparent and effective communication with leadership to facilitate informed decision-making. In order to excel your role you will need to: ・Align and Communicate [Stakeholder Management] : Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration, leveraging strong communication skills to drive cohesion and effective teamwork. Managing high-level relationships both internally and externally. ・Cross-functional Collaborate: Partner with teams across Communications, Ad Product Marketing, Research, and Marketing to maintain a unified ads narrative across all channels and touchpoints. ・Local Market Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Japanese market, including trends, consumer behaviors, and regulatory considerations |

You are open to risks and failure to iterate quickly for the sake of high bar and the business. | Qualifications: +10 years of experience in B2B marketing, product marketing, digital advertising, or marketing communications. Familiarity with the CTV, OTT, or streaming landscape is preferred. Proven expertise in product positioning and collateral development. Skilled in partnering with product and sales teams to shape and communicate product strategy, positioning, and messaging effectively. Demonstrated ability to generate and implement creative ideas, collaborate with agencies, and manage multiple projects with precision under tight deadlines. Strong aptitude for working in cross-functional environments, effectively aligning diverse stakeholders and scaling communications.
