As part of our global CSE team you will be the representative in Japan. The CSE team is currently counting 15 people, and we are hiring more in the coming months. Our main purpose is focusing on possibilities and our capabilities to meet customer requirements. We support Sales teams during technical and commercial discussions, understanding our customers’ needs and recommending the appropriate technical solutions. We collaborate with our Engineering teams and product developers to find better customer solutions.

When customers accept the chosen solution, we hand it over to Delivery and Operations to ensure proposed solutions can be built, delivered and supported once contract is signed.

Main tasks
As part of the CSE team, you will be involved in the following tasks:
・In conjunction with the sales and business development teams, develop and execute the digital sales strategy for target accounts
・Execute proof of concepts designed to prove out both the technology and the value offered by Marlink
・Drive the customers' solution internally through other departments, i.e., Engineering and Products, as well as through external vendors when needed, including coordination with Sales and Pricing teams
・Provide market & customer information to the Marlink organization to support further development of the Marlink Product Portfolio
・Drive technical preparation of quotations and offers (design, architecture, proposal writing, customer presentation)
・Create high level solution designs that align with customer needs and business goals
・Finding bespoke technical solutions and creating technical and commercial proposals meeting customer requirements, focusing on cyber security solutions, IT & Cloud, and IOT
・Customizing proposals covering required technologies and services, mainly managed services, but also system integration and reselling when required
・Engaging with third-party service providers/partners, where customer requirement is not met by existing Marlink products and existing solutions
・Be flexible on support client for urgent situations during off-work time

応募資格 Qualifications and personal skills
・Bachelor’s in engineering/computer science or equivalent experience.
・Ability to understand technical situations and build an overall technical approach.
・2–3+ years presales or solution design experience with strong cybersecurity expertise.
・Experience in connectivity, networking/SD-WAN, IT/IIoT, and managed/professional services.
・Proficiency in proposal writing, architecture/design creation, and customer presentations.
・Fluent in Japanese & English; additional regional languages are an asset.
・Knowledge of maritime, energy, humanitarian or government sectors is a plus.
・Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
