仕事内容 Basic Purpose of the job *
In conjunction with Account management groups and Technical Service group, responsible for developing product and brand strategy and plans and their implementation for the Swine product portfolio, to achieve established product sales goals.

Accountabilities *
1. Contributes to the achievement of sales targets for Swine product portfolio by leading the development of brand tactical plans and influencing their third party implementation for target products
• Gathers and analyses information on market trends, competitor activities and customer needs considered useful for the development of effective brand strategies and plans 
• Shares information and concepts with Global Strategic Marketing to identify useful tools and techniques to support local Marketing initiatives
• In conjunction with Account Management groups and Technical Service group, develops annual brand communication plans designed to support Swine Sales, including product positioning and key messages
• Plans and organizes the day-to-day implementation of brand plans, including and public relations materials, preparation of sales support materials, education materials for wholesaler representatives, dissemination of relevant market and technical information to sales representatives, organization of display materials for trade shows and conferences
• Monitors progress of product sales to goal and implements contingency plans as required to address performance gaps. Reports monthly and ad hoc as necessary on key activities, issues and trends
• Spends a significant amount of working time in the field with Swine Sales Dept and independently to keep in touch with market trends and customer needs and in technical support
• Tracks sales and market share trends against plan and amends strategies and tactics as required to maximize sales volume
• Develops communications and promotional plans that optimize cost effectiveness
• Monitors expenditures regularly and implements spending contingency plans as required

2. Prepares and inputs accurate monthly forecasts for Swine products
• Uses trend analysis, input from the sales force and general market knowledge to forecast future Swine product sales
• In cooperation with Commercial Supply Chain Management group, establishes required safety stocks and customer service levels for product supply
• Monitors product inventory expiration dates and implements established inventory clearance procedures to minimize write offs

3. In consultation with Head of Swine Dept, Regional Account Management Group Managers and Brand Managers, recommends to Head of Livestock Business Segement pricing for Swine products and implements after senior management approval
• Monitors competitor activity and differential benefits of own and competitor products to establish optimal product pricing
• Works with Account management groups to define individual customer support and pricing optimal to achievement of sales objectives. Submits recommendations for senior management approval prior to implementation

4. Participates in planning and implementation of action plans for key target accounts and opinion leaders
• Works with the sales force in development of goals and action plans for individual key accounts and key opinion leaders
• Coordinates the development of sales support materials, special promotional programs and participates in the organization of special events for targeted key accounts and opinion leaders
• Builds network with key authorities, partner companies, committees, and organizations playing an important role in decision making on product use
• Monitors results and participates in the development of contingency plans as required

5. Participates in local project teams for new and in-line product development
• Participates in new product development project teams to ensure optimal pre-market and launch plans are established and implemented. Assumes leadership of these teams as development projects approach MAFF registration
• Leads in-line brand development project teams targeted at life cycle management, maintenance of registrations and required presentation changes for Swine products

6. Ensures correct administration of the Product Readiness process for all additions to the Swine product portfolio
• Works closely with Global Strategic Marketing on new product profile development (Target Product Profiles) that clearly and accurately reflects needs of the Japanese market
• Collects and analyses market data and trend information to develop accurate and timely opportunity analysis to justify new product development investments for Japan (generation of sales projections)
• Completes required Product Readiness system documentation to support research investments and initiate registration activities

7. Addresses them beyond the own duties when other tasks assigned by management

Local : Senior management (DAM), Clinical Research & Development / Regulartory Affairs group, Quality Assurance group, Technical Service group, Swine sales team, Commercial Supply Chain Management group, Customer Experience group, Enable Function (AH finance and HR)
External contacts: key opinion leaders, practicing veterinarians, wholesalers, swine producers, academic

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree / Veterinary

Required Skills
• Knowledge and leadership skills in marketing concepts, strategies, and tactics
• Basic finance and financial analysis skills
• Good analytical skills
• Computer literacy
• Familiarity with BIAHJ livestock products and relevant competitors
• Knowledge of veterinary medicine with emphasis on abilities regarding diagnosis and treatment/prevention of disease
• Knowledge of current animal production practices in particular swine
• Knowledge of protocols, regulatory requirements and industry medical trends
