【Your new department】 Data & Analytics is a dynamic and growing function focused on building sustainable local analytics and AI capabilities aligned with global standards and local business needs. Based in Japan, the team partners with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Innovation, Finance, Marketing, Medical, Sales) and collaborates closely with Data Platform and Data Governance teams to ensure solutions are robust, secure, and adopted. Data & Analyticsは、グローバル基準と現地のビジネスニーズに即した持続可能なローカルの分析・AI能力の構築に注力する、成長中のダイナミックな組織です。日本拠点のチームは、イノベーション、ファイナンス、マーケティング、メディカル、営業などのクロスファンクショナルなステークホルダーと連携し、データプラットフォームやデータガバナンスチームと協働して堅牢かつ安全で採用されるソリューションを推進します。職場はスピード感があり協力的で、データに基づくインパクトあるソリューションの提供にコミットしています。 【Your new role】 As a Data Scientist at Novo Nordisk, you will: • Deliver production-grade models and analytics products, including designing, training, validating, and improving machine learning models such as classification, regression, clustering, forecasting, and Natural Language Processing. • Deploy solutions into production environments and establish monitoring for model performance, drift, and reliability. • Own the full data science lifecycle, from framing business questions into testable hypotheses to communicating recommendations through clear narratives, dashboards, and decision-oriented outputs. • Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives, manage demand transparently, and influence decision-making with evidence-based insights. • Raise the bar on quality, governance, and standards by implementing strong practices for reproducibility, documentation, and explainability. • Contribute to capability building in Japan by sharing best practices, supporting analysts in upskilling, and acting as a trusted advisor on AI/ML strategy discussions. • 分類、回帰、クラスタリング、予測、自然言語処理などの機械学習モデルを設計、学習、検証、改良し、実運用に耐えるモデルおよび分析プロダクトを提供する。 • ソリューションを本番環境へデプロイし、モデル性能、ドリフト、信頼性に関するモニタリング体制を構築する。 • ビジネス課題を検証可能な仮説に落とし込み、明確なナラティブやダッシュボード、意思決定に資するアウトプットを通じて所見を伝えるなど、データサイエンスのライフサイクル全般を担当する。 ステークホルダーと連携し、目的を把握するとともに需要を透明に管理し、エビデンスに基づく洞察で意思決定に影響を与える。 • 再現性、ドキュメンテーション、説明可能性に関する堅牢なプラクティスを導入し、品質、ガバナンス、基準の向上に寄与する。 • ベストプラクティスの共有やアナリストのスキル向上支援を通じて、日本における能力構築に貢献し、AI/ML戦略に関する信頼できるアドバイザーとして機能する。 |
| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 • Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; PhD preferred.• 5+ years in analytics/data roles, including 2+ years of hands-on data science experience implementing ML/statistical solutions. • Strong Python coding skills and solid software/data engineering practices (version control, testing, packaging, reproducibility). • Proven experience working with structured data; experience in regulated industries (pharma, healthcare, finance) is a plus. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear business decisions. • Fluent Japanese skill and Business English skill are required. • データサイエンス、コンピュータサイエンス、統計学、数学、または関連分野の修士号以上。博士号保有者を歓迎。 • 分析／データ関連の業務経験5年以上、そのうち機械学習や統計的ソリューションの実装に関する実務経験が2年以上あること。 • Pythonによる高度なコーディング能力と、バージョン管理、テスト、パッケージング、再現性確保などの堅牢なソフトウェア／データエンジニアリング実務スキル。 • 構造化データを扱った実務経験があること。医薬品、医療、金融などの規制産業での経験があれば尚可。 複雑な分析を分かりやすいビジネス判断に落とし込める、優れたコミュニケーション能力とステークホルダーマネジメント能力。 • 流暢な日本語能力 • ビジネスレベル以上の英語力 |
