THE ROLE: The Japan Sales Director, based out of AMDs Tokyo offices, will play a key leadership role within the Japan and Regional Sales Organization. The Japan Commercial & Transformation Director will be focused on driving sales and growing market share for AMD based products across Server, Client, Pro Graphics and Embedded solutions in the local market. The successful applicant will manage the sales team and field resources in Japan and will be responsible for establishing the AMD sales strategy, partnerships and market approach to drive customer relationships and deliver revenue goals. They will achieve these goals through developing, mentoring and leading a high-performance sales team. They will partner closely with cross functional internal teams such as Marketing, WW BU and WW account teams to help ensure AMD is well positioned in all sales opportunities. This person will be responsible for developing senior executive relationships within both end customer and partner organizations to place AMD in a strong position in the market to win against the competition and grow share significantly in Japan. In addition to the sales responsibilities, this person will also collaborate across all functions within AMD in Japan and WW working closely with the Japan CVP to drive transformation of the organization to achieve the benefits of One AMD. This will include sales and non-sales functions to drive efficiency of the entire organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ●Lead the transformation planning including market analysis to identify the largest opportunities as well as designing the organization that will take advantage of the opportunities identified in the market, including sales org and other supporting functions. ●Be a strong change agent both within the AMD Japan organization and externally with customers and partners. ●Work closely with the country CVP to lead the execution of the transformation of the Japan organization into one cohesive team that can work to drive share growth in the Japan market and achieve the goals of One AMD. ●Directly lead the Japan Commercial sales team to deliver on AMD revenue, unit & share goals across Commercial Client, Server, Pro Graphics and Embedded segments. ●Create, execute, and maintain business plan for each of the segment verticals, provide feedback on a roadmap of products, enhancements, and offerings that will lead to improved market competitiveness and ultimately market share growth in Japan region. ●Assist in developing and implementing a Japan Commercial Enterprise strategy and tactical plan that advance AMD’s priorities. ●Represent AMD with public officials, customers, trade association and industry bodies and other external audiences ●Work to foster AMD C-Suite relationships with Key Enterprise customers in Japan ●Comply with the highest professional and ethical standards, as well as compliance with applicable laws and corporate policies ●Responsible for enabling and mentoring the AMD sales team ●Work closely with global account teams and technical leadership to build programs that accelerate adoption of AMD platforms, including new methods for product distribution and new customers. ●Explore new and innovative business models for growing business ●Work closely with AMD Business Unit product teams to maximize product performance, innovation, and competitive positioning. ●Work closely with the Local and Global Marketing and Sales teams to align product and marketing strategy to Japan market |

【必須(MUST)】 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:●Relevant industry experience Working in a leadership position. Already have existing senior executive relationships with partners and Enterprise customers. ●Have previously successfully led transformation programs at a large scale within a global organization. ●Significant experience with Enterprise customers, government agencies, information technology firms and other relevant organizations across Japan market ●Successful track record of positive collaboration and influence while building strategic relationships with key enterprise customers, OEMs and partners ●Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to the regional management team and to keep them informed of the teams operational status and plans ●Experience in the semiconductor or technology industry ●Proven track record of successfully attracting, developing and leading world-class teams and driving sales success ●Experience driving business in the Commercial System Integrators and ●Corporate Value Added Resellers ●Competent Japanese and English language skills |
