The Japanese power market is a uniquely vibrant market where the 2016 liberalization of the market marked a pivotal transition towards increased opportunities and expanded service offerings for customers. In April 2025, JERA Co., Inc. and EDF Trading Ltd integrated their respective Japanese power trading businesses into JERA Global Markets, the exclusive fuels optimizer and joint venture of both companies. Position Description Our mission is to execute settlement operations accurately and efficiently for our electricity portfolio and related financial and physical transactions, including power, LNG, coal, crude oil, and foreign exchange. Specifically, we support our trading activities through the preparation and coordination of trade confirmations and signature processes with counterparties following trade execution, verifying and preparing invoices, and carrying out timely settlement operations, while ensuring the accuracy of transaction data and driving continuous improvement of business processes. Key Role Responsibilities • Verification, approval, and correction of transaction details in internal systems • Preparation and management of trade confirmations and signature process with counterparties at the time of trade execution • Validation of invoices from counterparties and preparation of invoices for our company • Analysis of discrepancies in invoiced amounts, identification of root causes, corrective actions, and proposal of preventive measures • Execution of settlement operations for power market transactions and OTC trades • Support for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes • Development of tools and process improvements to enhance settlement efficiency • Compliance with market rules and regulations and staying updated on changes • Collaboration with other departments (Trading, Risk Management, Finance, IT) |

| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 •Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, or equivalent•Fluency in English (spoken and written) is Mandatory required. •Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) is Mandatory required. •Intermediate or higher Excel skills (functions, SQL, data analysis) •Knowledge or practical experience in settlement and clearing of financial instruments (FX, commodities, derivatives, etc.) •Ability to understand contractual clauses related to clearing, settlement, and payment •Strong attention to data accuracy and detail-oriented mindset •Logical thinking and effective communication skills 【歓迎（WANT）】 •Experience in power markets or energy-related operations is preferred•Advanced IT literacy that enables development of process automation and efficiency tools would be an advantage Person Specification •Strong numerical and data analysis skills with a focus on accuracy •Team-oriented, proactive in reporting and consulting •Highly motivated to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency |
