About the Company JERA Global Markets Co., Ltd. (GMJ) is a member of JERAGM group. GMJ is a leading utility-backed Japanese power trader. JERA Global Markets Pte. Ltd. (JERAGM) in Singapore is a joint venture between majority shareholder JERA Co., Inc. and EDF Trading Ltd, JERAGM’s shareholders are among the world’s major utilities. JERAGM operates one of the most exciting energy portfolios in the world which gives it an in-depth understanding of the way local, regional and international energy markets behave. Our in-depth knowledge and market insights enable us to capture trading opportunities, optimize portfolios, create value and enhance security of supply for our customers. The Japanese power market is a uniquely vibrant market where the 2016 liberalization of the market marked a pivotal transition towards increased opportunities and expanded service offerings for customers. In April 2025, JERA Co., Inc. and EDF Trading Ltd integrated their respective Japanese power trading businesses into JERA Global Markets, the exclusive fuels optimizer and joint venture of both companies. Position Description •The Japanese Power Trader Assistant is part of the trading team within GMJ’s Japanese Power business. The person will play a key contribution in building-out a Japanese Power trading desk in close coordination with Traders. •The role will involve taking responsibility for developing and maintaining Trader tools, booking of deals, daily reconciliation of position and assisting Traders in daily PnL reconciliation. •The person will coordinate closely with other members of the Japanese Power business and other GMJ functions, in a collaborative and open manner, more specifically with BO and IT support function to enhance processes and functionalities, involving testing in UI environment, and FO developers. Key Role Responsibilities •Work closely with product control/Risks on curves input and ensure the accuracy of the daily P&L and position. •Provide fit for purpose information for other management reports. •Work closely with IT to support the trading tools. •Function as a team-player and foster a collaborative and open working environment across the Japanese Power business and other functions of GMJ. Requires results: •To minimize booking errors, entering trades in a timely manner. •Keep daily readiness of the Trader tools. •Facilitate the daily routine for closing trading day process and curve saving. •To keep close monitoring of Trades recording related to regulation requirement. •To be always comply with the related regulations and internal rules which includes but not limited to Business Transaction Procedure and Risk Management Procedure. |

| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 •Master degree in quantitative field beneficial as this role could lead to a trader role.•Fluency in English (spoken and written) is Mandatory required. •Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) is Mandatory required. Person Specification •Strong understanding of effective risk management is a plus •Graduate level in an analytically-based discipline i.e. engineering, data science, finance, maths, economics, science or equivalent experience, preferred •Motivated, business oriented person •Good communication and analytical skills •Fast learner •Able to work in a fast paced environment •Proactive •Team player •Experience of working in a commodity trading environment, preferred •Good working knowledge of the Power markets is a plus •Market analysis experience is a plus |
