■What You'll Do Acquire, analyze, and format Geospatial Information System (GIS) data to support the creation and maintenance of TomTom’s mapping and traffic products. Evaluate spatial data using various GIS software (such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, FME, etc.) to assess quality and feature types to ensure they meet business requirements. Establish and maintain working relationships with existing and potential providers, partners, and local government authorities. Possess fundamental knowledge of local mapping regulations and maintain relevant industry connections. Continuously build and expand knowledge regarding the company, its processes, and its customers. Serve as the Country Sourcing and Community Expert for Japan, providing specialized expertise in the local language, geography, mapping regulations, local laws, and industry networks. | 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 ■What You'll NeedA university degree in Geography, Cartography, Geodesy, Geoinformatics, or a related field; OR At least 2 years of relevant experience in GIS, data sourcing/acquisition, and data processing. A valid driver’s license to participate in product test drives. Proficiency in commonly used GIS software. Language Skills: Proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to successfully negotiate and network with partners. Ability to understand and support map quality within specific countries/regions. Knowledge of geospatial source data handling and data licensing. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, based in Japan (Tokyo or Nagoya). ・地理学、地図学、測地学、または地理情報学の大学卒業資格、または ・2年以上の関連するGIS、調達取得およびデータ処理の経験。 ・製品テストドライブに参加するための有効な運転免許を持っている。 ・一般的に知られているGISソフトウェアの知識。 ・言語スキル：日本語と英語（書面および口頭）の熟練。 ・パートナーとの成功した交渉やネットワーキングを可能にする強力な対人コミュニケーションスキル。 ・特定の国/地域における地図の品質をサポートし理解する。 ・地理的ソースデータの取り扱いとデータライセンスに関する知識。 ・優れた問題解決力と分析力。 ・最小限の指導で独立して働く、日本（東京または名古屋）を拠点としています。 【歓迎（WANT）】 ■What Is Nice To HaveAdditional knowledge of other languages.
