We are recruiting for a Commercial Director position at Injection Molding Machinery, a global leader in precision manufacturing and hot runner systems. This is a highly confidential search, and we kindly ask you not to share or release this opportunity externally. This strategic leadership role is ideal for an accomplished professional with a strong track record in injection molding machines, hot runner technology, or industrial capital equipment. You will be expected to work closely with the global and regional sales team, and take full ownership of the business development strategy — identifying key markets, forming actionable plans, and helping expand Barnes’ commercial presence across key regions. A core part of your responsibilities will be to create impactful market materials that align with brand and customer needs, and to lead and manage a high－performing commercial team. People management experience, strong cross－functional collaboration skills, and the ability to lead through influence are essential. We are especially interested in candidates with an international mindset, strong commercial sense, and the desire to develop new customers in both mature and emerging markets. Minimum of 7＋ years of progressive commercial/sales experience in multinational companies in the automative, electronic, medical or packaging fields in the injection molding industry, with a minimum 7 years in managing a high－performance sales team/organization. • Successful sales records, hot runner sales experience is preferred. • Track record in expanding business into new industry verticals / territory. • Strong commercial / business acumen with ability to convey our value proposition and total solutions capability to new and existing customers. • Bachelor’s degree required － preferably in mechanical engineering, sales management or related • Fluent in spoken and written English • Native level Japanese. |
