The firm is seeking a Vice President, Investments for its Renewable Power ＆ Transition business, based in Japan. This role represents an exciting opportunity to join a high－performing global investment team focused on energy transition and renewable power opportunities. The VP will lead the identification, assessment, and execution of investment opportunities—including acquisitions, dispositions, and strategic partnerships—in renewable energy and related decarbonization sectors across Japan and Asia This individual will oversee transactions from origination through to execution, including financial due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and documentation. The role also involves business development, market research, and active portfolio management, contributing to both new investment opportunities and long－term value creation. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Origination • Support and implement the business development and transaction strategy. • Lead market and industry research to identify potential investment opportunities and support strategic planning. • Conduct detailed company and sector analysis to develop investment theses and value creation strategies. • Build and maintain networks with industry participants to source and evaluate deal flow. Execution • Lead all phases of the investment lifecycle, from initial assessment through due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing. • Manage the end－to－end due diligence process, coordinating internal teams （tax, legal, finance, operations） and external advisors. • Oversee detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis to support investment recommendations. • Prepare and present investment materials to senior management and investment committees. • Negotiate transaction terms and documentation to achieve optimal outcomes. Asset Management • Partner with portfolio company management teams to enhance operational and financial performance. • Monitor investment performance and key value drivers post－acquisition. • Contribute to portfolio strategy and identify opportunities for optimization and growth. Leadership • Manage, coach, and develop investment professionals, ensuring a high－performance culture. • Represent the platform externally as a credible ambassador to counterparties, partners, and stakeholders. |
| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 • Minimum 10 years’ experience in investment, private equity, or corporate finance.• Demonstrated experience in infrastructure, renewable energy, or energy transition sectors. • Proven track record leading end－to－end deal execution, including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction negotiation. • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior professionals. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, both written and verbal. • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem－solving capabilities. • Highly organized, detail－oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. • Able to work collaboratively across global teams and functions. • Self－motivated and proactive, with a long－term career mindset and strong professional integrity. |
