Position Overview GigaDevice Japan is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support our expanding MCU business in Japan. You will work closely with customers, distributors, and internal engineering teams to drive design-in activities and provide high-quality technical support across consumer and industrial applications. Automotive experience is a plus. This role combines hands-on engineering (debug, bring-up, demo kit/sample code creation) with customer-facing engagement (presentations, trainings, and pre-sales collaboration). Key Responsibilities •Provide technical support for GigaDevice products (mainly MCU) to customers both face-to-face and online. •Support firmware and hardware debugging, issue investigation, and bring-up on customer systems. •Develop and customize demo kits, sample software, and application examples for key customers. •Work with distributors’ FAEs to provide training, technical guidance, and joint customer support. •Capture customer requirements, market trends, and competitor information; deliver structured feedback to Business Units. •Drive design-in and VE/VA opportunities; identify and develop new business leads. •Represent GigaDevice at seminars, exhibitions, and customer events as a technical expert; lead customer/distributor trainings (seminars/workshops). •Provide prompt and thorough follow-up for ongoing designs to ensure a smooth transition to mass production. |

| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 1.Minimum Requirements:•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). •5+ years of relevant experience in embedded systems or MCU applications. •Practical experience in both hardware and software debugging (oscilloscope/logic analyzer use, IDE/toolchains, RTOS familiarity, etc.). •Native-level Japanese and business-level English. (Chinese is a plus.) 【歓迎（WANT）】 2.Preferred Qualifications:•Experience in consumer and/or industrial applications; automotive experience is a plus. •Excellent presentation and communication skills (clear documentation, PowerPoint/Excel proficiency). •Hands-on, analytical, and self-driven; able to manage multiple projects independently. •Consulting mindset: understand customer needs, technology trends, and market dynamics; provide actionable insights to internal teams. •Pre-sales mindset and strong interpersonal skills to build trust-based customer relationships. |
