You are joining our Tokyo office as part of the McKinsey Transformation (MT) team, where you'll serve as a project manager, helping clients drive turnaround and transformation efforts. You’ll lead teams through phases of independent diligence, bottom-up planning, and implementation (spanning 12–24 months), applying MT’s holistic, execution-focused approach. This includes leveraging all performance levers—cost, revenue, strategy, organization, and capital—while integrating McKinsey’s best tools, benchmarks, and methodologies. In this role, you’ll manage large-scale transformations, ensuring seamless integration across workstreams, fostering the right mindset, and mobilizing businesses to achieve and sustain value. You’ll also draw on MT’s global capabilities and occasionally take on interim management roles for clients. Success will require a mix of strategic thinking, disciplined execution, and leadership, often in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. MT, founded in 2010, specializes in holistic transformations and corporate restructuring, helping clients achieve rapid performance improvements. With two service lines—Turnarounds & Transformations (T&T) and Corporate Restructuring (CR)—MT supports businesses ranging from distressed to high-potential. Our global team of ~400 consultants operates in over 50 countries, delivering extraordinary impact in some of the firm’s most critical engagements. |
| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 ・Bachelor's degree: master's degree or MBA is a plus・Experience in managing teams of employees through an operational turnaround of significant step-change ・Track record of consistently delivering high-impact results to meet clients’ needs ・Expertise driving rapid and successful operational turnarounds and/or rapid growth programs across key strategic, revenue, cost and working capital levers ・Robust understanding of financial and operational levers (e.g. business plan modeling, working capital management, financial statement analysis) ・Direct operating experience with P&L accountability is preferred ・Excellent problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills ・Fluency in Japanese and English in oral and in written form 【歓迎（WANT）】 ・Experience in strategic consulting is preferred |
