As part of our commitment to advancing high-speed rail initiatives in India, we are seeking a highly experienced Rail Domain Consultant from the Asia-Pacific region to join us on-site in India and provide strategic technical guidance on high-speed train rolling stock programs. Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Rail Domain Consultant with substantial Asia-Pacific experience in high-speed train rolling stock to join our engineering division in India. This is an expatriate role, ideal for professionals from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, or other Asia-Pacific countries, who bring strong expertise in the design, development, and integration of high-speed train systems. The consultant will work closely with Cyient’s internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting major rail projects and ensuring alignment with international technical standards.

応募資格	【必須（MUST）】（JP）・機械工学、電気工学、鉄道工学（または同等分野）の学士号または修士号または同等の実務経験があること・アジア太平洋地域（例：日本、韓国、中国、台湾、オーストラリア）における高速鉄道車両エンジニアリング分野での10～15年以上の実務経験・国際的な鉄道技術慣行および適合基準（TSI、EN、UICなど）に関する深い理解・知識があること・主要な高速鉄道メーカーまたはオペレーター（例：JRグループ、現代ロテム、CRRC、日立レール、川崎重工業など）　との業務経験があること・以下の分野のうち少なくとも1つ以上における確かな専門知識を保有している事：　‐システムインテグレーション　-車両設計　-牽引システム　-制動システム　-安全システム　-試運転・調整・英語に堪能であること（日本語またはその他の地域言語は尚可）（Eng）・Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Railway Engineering (or equivalent). ・10–15+ years of experience in high-speed train rolling stock engineering in the Asia-Pacific region (e.g., Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Australia). ・Strong understanding of international rail engineering practices and compliance standards (TSI, EN, UIC, etc.). ・Experience working with leading high-speed rail manufacturers or operators (e.g., JR Group, Hyundai Rotem, CRRC, Hitachi Rail, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, etc.). ・Proven expertise in at least one or more of the following areas: system integration, vehicle design, traction systems, braking, safety systems, commissioning. ・Fluent in English (Japanese or other regional languages a plus). 【歓迎（WANT）】（JP）・海外勤務経験または国際コンサルティング経験があれば尚好・鉄道環境に関する知識があれば尚好・エンジニアリングチームの指導および技術研修プログラムの開発経験があれば尚好（Eng）・　Prior expatriate or international consulting experience is highly desirable. ・　Familiarity with the railway environment is an advantage. ・　Experience in mentoring engineering teams and developing technical training programs. （JP）・優れたコミュニケーション能力と多文化チームでの業務遂行能力をお持ちの方（コミュニケーションは主に英語となります）（Eng）・Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multicultural teams.
