This role combines the direct sales and account management focus of a Sales Manager for Label and Packaging Materials (LPM) and the strategic and growth-oriented responsibilities of a Business Development Manager for Performance Materials (PM). The successful candidate will drive business growth across both segments, nurture key client relationships, identify new opportunities, and achieve sales objectives within assigned territories and accounts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Key account sales manager Label & Packaging Materials (50% focus): - Responsible for increasing revenue by achieving sales objectives in existing and new accounts within the LPM segment. - Create and manage territory and account strategies to deliver on price and mix objectives. - Provide product recommendations, samples, technical support, pricing, and service information on demand. - Provide product quotes and actively utilize value-selling tools and skills. - Demonstrate products and/or services and provide assistance in the best application of product and/or services. - Proactively identify new accounts using screening techniques, referrals, and prospecting to potential customers within the assigned territory. - Develop a thorough understanding of market conditions (e.g., current customers, potential customers, competitors) in the assigned territory, and develop a strategy to achieve revenue goals. - Conduct territory analysis and planning to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts and customers. - Use key account management skills to plan and execute customer marketing/growth programs for customers. - Creatively develop new applications for product line extension. 2. Business Development Manager - Performance Materials (50% focus): - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients at regional and global levels, across various functions, particularly within the Automotive, Electronics, and Industrial markets. - Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (Japan and Asia Pacific) to align on strategies and ensure seamless execution. - Understand client needs and challenges to develop tailored solutions that drive their success. - Develop and implement strategic account plans with clear milestones and actions. - Manage the sales process, including preparation, agenda setting, presentations, and follow-up for key accounts. - Develop and execute overall business strategy for the Automotive, Electronics, and Industrial segments in Japan. - Generate insights on segment trends and its implications, helping to develop suitable business strategy. - Investigate and summarize market dynamics, value chain, competitor landscape, and customer segmentation to define product solution value proposition. - Understand the value chain, key influences, key success factors to develop Go-to-Market strategy and plan. - Scan competitive dynamics and upsell the value proposition to maximize price and profit realization. - P&L ownership for PM related product family including portfolio management, pricing strategy, product commercialization, and driving NPD roadmap. - Drive business growth and profitability through cross-functional collaboration with commercial teams and other supporting teams. |
| 応募資格 |
【必須(MUST)】 - Bachelor’s degree in a commercial or technical field (preferred science and engineering degree).- Minimum 5+ years of combined experience in a B2B environment, with a strong background in sales, technical sales, and/or business development, preferably within the industrial sector (Industrial tape business etc ) - Proven experience in building and growing key accounts and achieving sales objectives. - Ability to understand technical information and translate it into customer-focused solutions. - Excellent written and verbal communications skills in both Japanese & English.( TOEIC 730 minimum ) - Car driver’s license. - Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives.. - Strong business acumen, negotiation, and communication skills. - Good negotiation skills/experience. - Excellent organizational and teamwork skills. |
