We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager, Acquisition to support the growth of renewable energy portfolio in Japan. This role will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and securing both greenfield land opportunities and brownfield M＆A opportunities for operating renewable energy assets. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Business Development and play a key role in expanding footprint through strategic acquisitions and partnerships. How You Will Make an Impact Originate and assess land acquisition and M＆A opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals. Lead the end－to－end acquisition process, including site identification, due diligence, financial and technical evaluation, and negotiation of definitive agreements. Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, local governments, project developers, and asset owners. Conduct due diligence on land parcels and operating assets, including zoning, permitting, environmental constraints, grid access, and asset performance. Collaborate with internal teams （e.g., GIS, legal, engineering, finance, project development） to evaluate feasibility and support project structuring from identification through to NTP or acquisition close. Monitor regulatory developments and market trends affecting land use, renewable energy development, and asset transactions. Support internal reporting, including pipeline updates, investment memos, and strategic development reports. Coordinate with in country and regional teams to ensure alignment on acquisition strategy and execution. |
| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 What Makes You a Great FitDegree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Finance, or a related field. Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills. Passionate about sustainability and the energy transition. Self－motivated, detail－oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast－paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools （Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams）. • Fluent Japanese and proficient English communication skills. 【歓迎（WANT）】 Proven experience in land sourcing, M＆A, or project development within the renewable energy, infrastructure, or real estate sectors.Strong understanding of Japan’s regulatory landscape, land acquisition processes, and renewable energy market. |
