Company Outline The company is an established international pharmaceutical organization with a growing presence in Japan. It develops and provides medicines across multiple therapeutic areas and has a strong track record of global collaboration. The Japan office is a mid－sized operation where teams work closely with both local colleagues and global counterparts. Position Outline The IT Manager will be responsible for all IT operations in Japan, acting as the first－line point of contact for end users while coordinating with global IT and external vendors for escalation and projects. The role is approximately 70％ hands－on technical support and 30％ vendor and project management. This is a critical position for stabilizing and upgrading the IT environment, ensuring smooth day－to－day operations, and driving future technology improvements .As the business grows, there is an increasing need to strengthen IT operations locally while aligning with group－level IT standards. This role offers the opportunity to be directly involved in shaping the IT function in Japan while remaining connected to a wider global IT network. Key Responsibilities End－User Support ＆ IT Operations － Act as the first－line support for PCs, iPads, iPhones, VPN, printers, and collaboration tools. － Manage local IT tickets and escalate to global IT where necessary. － Ensure smooth onboarding of new users with full IT setup and access. Systems ＆ Infrastructure Management － Administer Microsoft 365 tools （Teams, Power BI, Power Automate, Workflow, etc.）. － Support device and mobile management （Intune, Apple Business Manager）. － Maintain and troubleshoot local IT infrastructure, networking, and security. Projects ＆ Future Initiatives － Support the implementation of SAP and other global IT projects. － Collaborate with global IT and Business Excellence on CRM and system improvements. － Identify opportunities to bring additional systems under IT scope. Vendor ＆ Stakeholder Management － Work with local vendors for hardware procurement and maintenance. － Coordinate with global IT and external partners to ensure service levels are met. － Provide input on vendor proposals and quotations; final decisions with Finance Director. Governance ＆ Compliance － Align local operations with global IT standards, policies, and security requirements. － Support compliance with data protection and information security principles. － Maintain and update local IT policies where necessary. | 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 － Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT support, administration, or IT operations.－ Strong hands－on technical knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, networking （TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP）, and mobile device management. － Experience supporting end－users directly in a corporate environment. － Basic understanding of cybersecurity and data protection principles. － Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills. － Ability to work independently while collaborating with global IT teams. － Fluent Japanese and good English communication skills （written and spoken）. 【歓迎（WANT）】 － IT certifications （e.g., Microsoft, networking, ITIL） are a plus.This is a chance to be the go－to IT professional in Japan, driving day－to－day support while also shaping the IT landscape through upcoming projects.
