The headquarters are located in Haag (Switzerland), the production centers in Switzerland, Malaysia, Romania and Taiwan. 【General Summary】 ・Serve as the technical interface between VAT and customers (OEMs and IDMs), acting as a specialist on processes, tools, applications, and product requirements ・Identify technical challenges and business opportunities early, anticipate customer trends, and propose VAT solutions to drive business growth ・Support internal stakeholders (Product Managers, Sector Managers, Engineers, etc.) in technical discussions and proposal development with customers in Japan ・Collaborate with the sales team to define product requirements, develop value propositions, and create strategies to expand business at key accounts 【Duties & Responsibilities】 ・Drive Spec-Wins to achieve annual business objectives ・Act as a reliable technical contributor in joint VAT–customer projects ・Lead definition of specifications for new product developments and customizations to protect and grow VAT’s Share of Wallet ・Identify and share customer technical roadmaps with internal stakeholders ・Provide accurate, timely technical support and responses to customer inquiries ・Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) and oversee customer on-site evaluations (e.g., valve testing in cleanrooms) ・Represent the Voice of VAT in customer projects and the Voice of Customer in product development initiatives ・Guide and influence customers’ technical decisions in alignment with VAT’s strategy ・Deliver regular reports and ensure timely communication across teams and stakeholders ・Support resolution of complex technical issues in cooperation with Product Managers, escalating when necessary ・Partner with the sales team in customer acquisition, negotiations, and product specification processes ・Contribute actively to the VAT engineering network ・Monitor competitors, conduct competitive analysis, and highlight VAT’s differentiators VAT is an equal opportunity employer. | 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 ・Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent expertise in mechanics, electronics, or mechatronics (control systems)・Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency (email communication, meeting facilitation, and interpreting in technical discussions) ・Strong background in the semiconductor industry (OEMs and component suppliers) ・Proven experience working in cross-cultural environments ・Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills 【歓迎（WANT）】 ・Experience working in cleanroom environments・Strong knowledge and practical experience with vacuum equipment ・Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, or equivalent qualifications ・Bright and positive personality ・Strong team player with leadership and ownership mindset ・Passionate about the FAE role, with a clear understanding of its responsibilities ・Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently |
