In April 2025, JERA Co., Inc. and EDF Trading Ltd integrated their respective Japanese power trading businesses into JERA Global Markets, the exclusive fuels optimizer and joint venture of both companies. Position Description In this commercially focused role, you will work closely with senior local business leaders, serving as a trusted strategic partner while collaborating with HR partners to design and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives. Drawing on your in-depth knowledge of front-office banking, commodities or trading talent, you deliver progressive, forward-looking HR solutions that drive the attraction, development, and retention of top talent. Your contributions will help shape high-performing teams and foster a leading workplace culture that fuels innovation and growth. You are a seasoned strategic HR Business Partner with deep experience in fast-paced, high-performing international institutions. Known for delivering impactful HR initiatives, you have a strong track record of driving measurable business outcomes in periods of growth and change. Balancing strategic insight with a strong hands-on approach, you bring sharp problem-solving skills, exceptional communication and influencing abilities, and a proven talent for engaging senior stakeholders—gained through successfully managing across cultures in prior roles. Based in Japan, the HRBP will work in close collaboration with HR counterparts in Singapore and other GM offices to align local practices with regional and global HR strategies. This role covers core HR functions—such as performance management, employee development, and engagement—as well as labour administration including time and attendance, payroll coordination, and occupational health and safety. The HRBP will also lead or support HR process improvements and system implementations, driving efficient and scalable operations. Furthermore, the role plays a critical part in embedding global culture and values, promoting diversity and inclusion, and supporting organizational change. Key role responsibilities 1. Strategic HR Business Partnering •Partner with local and regional business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals. •Support workforce planning, employee development, performance management, and succession planning. •Provide HR insights and solutions that support both employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. 2. Labor Administration & Compliance •Support the handling of employee relations issues and ensure proper documentation and compliance. 3. HR Operations & Policy Development •Partner with regional/global HR teams to develop and localize HR policies and benefit programs. •Act as a key contact for foreign national employees in Japan, managing onboarding, relocation, and support throughout the employee lifecycle. •Support international hiring and mobility, including visa applications and global relocations. •Facilitate alignment of global and local HR practices, ensuring compliance without compromising group standards. 4. Cross-functional & Regional Collaboration •Collaborate with HR colleagues in Singapore and other GM entities to share best practices and coordinate initiatives. •Work closely with functional managers across multiple countries to support employee and team-related matters. •Serve as a communication bridge between local teams and regional/global teams. 5. HR Operational Improvement & System Implementation •Lead or support improvement initiatives related to HR operational processes. •Drive the evaluation, implementation, or enhancement of HR systems such as HRIS, attendance tracking, and payroll solutions. •Identify inefficiencies and propose scalable solutions to improve HR service delivery and employee experience. 6. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) •Contribute to the development and implementation of DE&I initiatives in coordination with global HR. •Promote inclusive practices that reflect both global principles and local cultural considerations. 7. Organizational Change & Culture Alignment •Support organizational restructuring, integrations, or M&A-related HR activities, ensuring legal compliance and effective change communication. •Act as a local ambassador for the company’s global culture and values, helping to embed behavioral expectations into the workplace. 8. Employee Engagement & Listening •Support employee feedback programs (e.g., surveys, pulse checks) and partner with stakeholders to act on results. •Foster a culture of open communication, trust, and employee involvement. |

| 応募資格 |
【必須(MUST)】 •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.•At least 10 years of HR experience in a global company, including: o International company experience in a fast moving environment, preferably from trading or financial services. o Experience with international hiring, relocation support, or working with expatriates. o Involvement in developing or localizing HR/benefits policies for a multinational workforce. •Solid understanding of Japanese labor law, payroll, and occupational safety regulations. •Fluency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written). •Strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills. •The role will be supporting the local team and excellent relationship management, collaboration, negotiation and communication skills will be needed. •Experience collaborating with global HR teams. •Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors). 【歓迎(WANT)】 •Experience supporting DE&I or global cultural initiatives.•Knowledge of hybrid work models and flexible benefit programs. •Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, PHRi, 社会保険労務士).
