◼︎Job Description This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of science, supporting cutting-edge research that is simply not done elsewhere. You will be responsible for the development and design of highly specialized experimental equipment for leading universities and national research institutions. This role is pivotal in creating the ultra-low temperature environments (refrigerators capable of cooling to near absolute zero) essential for experiments in quantum computing and superconductivity. ------ ◼︎Key Responsibilities ・Design and customize cryogenic experimental systems using CAD to meet the specific research needs of our clients (top-tier university and national laboratory researchers). ・Manage projects from conception to completion, including sourcing materials and components from international suppliers. ・This position allows you to interact directly with leading scientists in pioneering fields, offering a unique opportunity to leverage not only your technical expertise but also your communication skills. ------ ◼︎About us With a rich history spanning 101 years, Niki Kogei Co., Ltd. has been a trusted partner in the scientific community, specializing in the import, manufacturing, and sale of advanced measurement instruments for over half a century. ◼︎Working Hours 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (7 working hours, 1-hour break). Flexible work options, including shortened hours (Jitan Kinmu), are available to support work-life balance. ◼︎Location Niki Kogei Co., Ltd. Technical Development Center 7-29 Ichibanishinaka-cho, Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa-ken 230-0023 (5-minute walk from Tsurumi-ichiba Station on the Keikyu Line) ◼︎Holidays Weekends (Saturday, Sunday) and National Holidays. ◼︎Leave Annual paid leave (10 days after 6 months), Summer/New Year holidays, Special leave for family events. ◼︎Overtime Yes (Average: 20 hours/month). ◼︎Bonus Yes (Last fiscal year's bonus was paid equivalent to 5 months' salary). ◼︎Allowances Commuting allowance, Overtime pay, Qualification allowance, Business trip allowance, Position allowance. ◼︎Benefits Comprehensive social insurance (health, pension, etc.). | 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 Experience in mechanical design using 2D CAD.Fundamental knowledge of refrigerators/cryocoolers or vacuum systems. 【歓迎（WANT）】 Experience with 3D CAD.A strong understanding of the principles behind superconducting magnets, cryostats, and vacuum chambers. Basic English proficiency (e.g., conversational listening, simple communication). A willingness to learn and improve is highly valued as you will interact with international suppliers. You are passionate about the challenges of custom design and developing novel scientific instruments. You are eager to engage in a global work environment, including international procurement and client interactions. |
