【PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE】 Factory CAPEX & OPEX sourcing As a Senior Specialist, with the support of from Manager, together with stakeholders’ team mainly in engineering/maintenance/operation team, you will lead sourcing strategy development for key spends based on deep understanding of internal compelling business needs, and industry/market/supplier situation. Then execute the strategy in a way to achieve company and department business goal by collaborating with multi-functional team and external suppliers by optimizing Cost, Quality, Schedule, Service, Innovation Capability and Supply Security. With or without e-auction 5-7% effectiveness/productivity improvements are target at each tender. • CAPEX Historically the spend of CAPEX varies year by year due to its nature, but it’s around JPY3-5Bn annually. To manage complex business needs, it requires a wide range of new supplier/service research capability. • OPEX You will manage annual JPY1-2Bn spend including Waste Management, Chemicals used for sanitization, Energy (Electricity, Gas), etc. CAPEX contributor for regional/global organization. As Danone is a global company, CAPEX buyer needs to report key market information/project status/ quarterly spending through global system. Some of our strategic suppliers are foreign suppliers and CAPEX buyer needs to closely work with them directly or indirectly via global buyer. CASH out management The amount of purchase order is relatively large for CAPEX, impact of cash out is supposed to be high. Danone is keen to accurate spending/cash out tracking, so it’ll be important role for CAPEX buyer to manage supplier to handle % of downpayment, # of payment split, payment terms to avoid unexpected cash-out. 【Main responsibilities】 Sourcing management • Make analysis, identify issues/opportunities, build sourcing strategies, get it aligned with stakeholders, VE (spec change), Tender or Negotiation to select necessary partners, make recommendation to get alignment from Leadership Team where necessary and implement procurement. • Act as representative towards key internal customers, stakeholders and external suppliers in terms of Vendor Selection, Negotiation of Cost/Quality/Service/Innovation/Schedule/Supply Security, and contracting. • Manage necessary contracts with suppliers in hands-on categories (NDA, Danone Standard General Terms and Conditions, Specifications, Specific attachments; Order conditions, Payment Terms, Insurances, Force Majeure, Min. Order quantity, Lead-time, etc). • Apply Supplier Relationship Management (JOINT-BUSINESS-PLANNING) methodology to achieve Cost, Quality, Service, Innovation, Speed targets |

【必須（MUST）】 【Education background】University Graduate 【Technical Skills and Experiences required】 • Over 5 years of experience in plant CAPEX sourcing as buyer or experience in plant engineering with exposure to supplier communication. • Indirect Sourcing (Purchasing/Procurement) [FMCG or Food industry is a plus] • Advanced Negotiation, Tender, Contracting, Supplier Relationship Management skills • Industrial analysis, Benchmarking, Inflation forecasting, “Should Cost” modeling • Excel, Power Point, Word • Both Japanese & English language (writing & speaking. above TOEIC 800 level) • SAP Process Knowledge is plus. 【Competencies to be successful on the job】 • Culture fit to multinational, diverse, versatile and lean organization • Action oriented, Self-starter • Agility to deal with ambiguity without micro-management from seniors • Self-awareness and quick reflection to development • Strong personal responsibility and level of ownership to achieve department & company objectives by prioritizing and leading action plan • Collaborative mindset and attitude to work in cross-functional teams and/or external partners with Inter-personnel skill 【歓迎（WANT）】 * |
