Focused on a bold vision to deliver smarter technology for all, we are developing world-changing technologies that create a more inclusive, trustworthy and sustainable digital society. By designing, engineering and building the world’s most complete portfolio of smart devices and infrastructure, we are also leading an Intelligent Transformation – to create better experiences and opportunities for millions of customers around the world. Join us in defining our world of tomorrow and creating smarter technology for all! Our Chief Security Office is seeking a strategic, confident, and highly credible Senior Manager of Trust & Advocacy to join its global security leadership team, based in the Asia Pacific region. This newly created role will lead our external security advocacy efforts across APAC, helping to build, defend, and sustain trust in our global security posture. This role will be the company’s primary security interface for high-stakes conversations with customers, regulators, government stakeholders, and partners in Asia Pacific—playing a critical role in proactively addressing geopolitical risk perceptions, regulatory concerns, and heritage-based objections. ■Job Responsibilities: This role is newly established to lead and execute Trust & Advocacy responsibilities across the Asia Pacific Region, where geopolitical complexity, heritage-based scrutiny, and regulatory divergence require precise, confident, and credible engagement. The Senior Manager will amplify our security posture in-region, act as a direct customer and partner interface, and serve as the security liaison for executive escalations and supporting government engagement related to trust, security, and national concerns. ■Core Responsibilities: External Security Advocacy & Geopolitical Engagement · Lead regional engagements with strategic customers, partners, and regulators to represent our security programs, posture, and maturity. · Proactively shape trust narratives and defend against region-specific geopolitical and heritage-based objections. · Partner with Government Relations, Legal, and Communications teams to ensure alignment of messaging and response strategies. Customer Trust Enablement & Escalation Support · Serve as the CSO’s security representative in customer escalations tied to trust, national origin, regulatory risk, or ethics. · Build and maintain a repository of validated security narratives, materials, and proof points customized for the APAC market. · Support in-region Sales, Legal, and Product teams with tailored messaging and objection-handling playbooks. Trust Narrative Integration & Strategic Messaging · Ensure consistency and localization of our trust messaging across internal security domains and external engagements. · Collaborate with the Governance & Assurance team to transform assurance outputs into meaningful trust signals for customers and regulators. · Influence executive and board-facing materials that demonstrate our global and regional security maturity. ■Travel Requirements: · This role will require travel (at least 50%). ■Why This Role Matters In a region where trust, transparency, and geopolitical perception are increasingly defining factors for business success, this role will be instrumental in enabling us to scale securely and credibly. You’ll shape the conversations that matter most—when trust is on the line. |
